Hotel on arrival smelt musty and unclean. The room was very pokey. Bed was hard and uncomfortable with hospital style plastic under the sheet. The bathroom had mould everywhere. When we used the shower the shower apparatus fell off. Couldn't shower properly. To top this off the bed bugs bit. Am covered in itchy bites. The reception person was most...

I had to cancel my trip due to my twin sister becoming terminally ill. I have waited for over a week to have my deposit refunded and call the hotel as prompted by the reservation provider. The lady that answered was both rude and insensitive and shouted at me throughout the call. She did not have the reference nor could...

Set just off the main square down a narrow lane. It doesn't look much from the outside but the interior is a surprise, with every room refurbished differently, air conditioning, good breakfast and staff who speak English and many other languages. A good mid-range hotel that you won't mind staying in for more than a day or weekend.

It is, on the face of it, a charming, atmospheric place, a seventeenth century lord's house with original stone walls .We were at the top of the house, up the original? stone staircase and several more ,over 50 rough steps with no lift and no porterage; all right if you're a goat but not if you're an OAP. The hot...

Worst hotel I’ve had the misfortune to find. The hotel is grungy on a dirty, smelly, narrow back street. Smelled of mold and mildew – by the second night add rotten fruit and sewage to that. At check in I was asked if I wanted breakfast. I declined noting that I am up early. My inquiry for nearby restaurants for...

Stayed the night here without planning. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Very central for all the shops and restaurants. The walls between rooms must be thin as we could hear snoring in the night. Bed comfortable but would have preferred a duvet to sheets and a blanket.

Decent hotel for the money. Fabulous building, excellent location. We wound up in a family room - spiral staircase and two twins up top. The double bed was hard and neither of us had a decent sleep. We didn't see any of the bugs mentioned by others. Breakfast was simple and a bit spare. It was only a 1 night...

This hotel was clean; the staff friendly and located in the heart of old Avignon - a great base for exploring the city and the region. The street was quiet and the historic building adaption was very well done.
