What a lovely escape to Avignon and to some lovely hospitality from the incredibly friendly and warm Laurent. If you like boats and a relaxed atmosphere you'll love this. The apartment in the back is spacious and had everything catered for. Thanks so much to Laurent.

We stayed at Qi Peniche for 1 night in September 2014. Our travel schedule got delayed, so we arrived after dark around 8pm. Laurent preferred an earlier arrival (we were originally scheduled to arrive between 3-5pm), but we could not help our travel delays. Luckily, Laurent was able to accommodate our late arrival. He greeted us upon our arrival and...

My husband and I booked this accommodation kind of last minute as a weekend getaway from our stressful jobs and the kids. I had read some good reviews about it. I have to say we were very pleased with the accommodation. The host, Laurent, is great. He is a very friendly host, he took his time to show us around...

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We were actually looking to stay at another B&B in Avignon but this one won out for the novelty of staying aboard a houseboat. At first, we were a bit confused about the location, but it was acutally no big deal. It is located just outside of the main city area,...

The booking process was very easy and smooth even though I don't speak French at all. The host Laurent gave us a warm greeting on the deck of the boat at 6pm on the day we arrived. We booked the captain's room, which gives us lots of spaces and great privacy, including a kitchen for us to cook. The view...

Had great stay on Laurent's barge QI (pronounced "key"). The location can look a bit daunting, but we had no probelms (as Laurent had assured us) and our car was parked outside for 5 days without issue. Unfortunately it was too cold to eat outside (early March), but breakfast in the room was just as good. It is 10-15 minutes...

This was the coolest find ever. Laurent who runs the B&B has put in so much time and effort into making this boat a great place for his guests. We stayed in the Reve (dream) room, but we were also blown away to be shown a TinTin room which is the greatest thing I have ever seen (the walls are...

I was delighted by our six day journey on the barge:homemade jams just delicious , we've been very well welcomed , the barge is very confortable and the view is just amzing.Perhaps , the only negative point I can raise would be that group of Americans dining on the terrasse , making noise until midnight whereas the owner had expressly...

We ha whised to stay 2 times when visiting Provence, but we never had the opportunity it was always full. The 3rd times has benn the one. Very convenient to center for our teenagers and close enough to the countryside for our day trip The rooms are very nicely decorated, nevertheless they are all quite small, something that is more...
