We spent 3 lovely days at Domaine de Rhodes and it was one of the highlights of our trip to France. It was originally built in the 16th century as a hunting lodge and has been restored and updated over the years. It is tastefully decorated with many family treasures and has many areas both inside and out where you...

We stayed at Domaine de Rhodes for 3 nights. It's a wonderful place and we regretted not staying longer. We fell in love with the hotel at first sight. It's a beautiful, 16th century building set on large grounds. Everything at the hotel is accented with French taste and Provence charm. Francoise and Paco are wonderful hosts. They made their...

Imagine a typically French beautiful manor house in the country and you're probably picturing domaine de rhodes. We stayed in Mistral room which was both spacious, comfortable and gorgeous. The shower was amazing in the bathroom up the spiral staircase. Breakfast was delicious, the home made yoghurt a must have along with the variety of fruit prepared by Francoise. The...

We spent four nights here and found it a lovely, clean, restful oasis, a great base for our exploration of Provence. The "newer" part of the house is 18th century; the original part is 16th century. Formerly a vineyard, this has been a B&B for several years. Decorations are lovely. Our suite was very nice. Owners Francoise and Paco are...

Can't agree more with all the earlier comments. You will never feel as though you're intruding on their property. The love they have for each other radiates among their guest. You're in the midst of all the "happenings" and yet away from everything. I would go back to Avignon not only for the beautiful place but for Francoise and Paco...

You cannot go wrong with Domaine de Rhodes. The owners are charming, lovely people who treat you as both honored guests and friends. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. You are very near Avignon yet feel like you are a world away. This is the perfect launching place for day trips (with lots of good direction as needed) or for...

What a beautiful B&B in a peaceful, relaxing setting. Domaine de Rhodes is the perfect place to stay when visiting Avignon. It is only 5 minutes from the center of Avignon however it feels like you are in your own private oasis. This 16th century hunting lodge has been loving updated by the owners Francoise and Paco. The rooms are...

Domaine de Rhodes is a little haven of tranquility on the Île de Barthelasse, just a 5-minute drive from the centre of beautiful Avignon. We stayed in the self-catering Cézanne apartment, which is very clean and spacious. All amenities are present and information can always be obtained from the friendly proprietors. Big and quiet garden and a well-kept pool are...

We recently spent 17 days in France and stayed at 5 different b&bs. This was our favourite by far. It is a little difficult to find and I would definitely recommend having a GPS and arriving for your first time before it gets dark. There are lots of signs but they are not easy to see at night. The building...

The stay with Paco and Francoise kicked off our vacation in Southern France this year and we could not have found a better place. Everything has been and is done here with so much love – the quaint rooms full of antiques and family treasures, the big park with the herbs and ancient trees, and breakfast with the hosts (they...
