Great peaceful place to relax but also really close to the attractions.
Very good pool layout with free coffee everywhere and most days homemade cake
The breakfast was excellent with the best local goats cheese I have ever tasted, homemade jams, eggs done to order etc.
Also one of the quietest air conditioning units in our room which was a welcome change.

Madame Brigitte was so welcoming and friendly. A wonderful place to chill out in peace and quiet.
Truly wonderful…….what more can we say?
A good walk down to the village where there are several very good restaurants-we had several good meals there. You can also provide your own drink and food (like pizzas) at the villa and eat around the pool.
Nothing was too much trouble for Brigitte - we would readily return!

I had read all the reviews before booking La Bastide Des Anges - everyone loved staying here as we did. We stayed for three nights in August 2012 to explore Provence and Avignon. We were so glad we stayed here - wonderful location - very peaceful. GPS found the location easily.

Beatrice is so warm and friendly and helpful. We loved your breakfasts - fresh homemade yoghurt, james and juices from the local farmer. Fresh croissants and bread each morning. The
breakfast room is well set out and it is always lovely to talk to other travellers.

We stayed in the room called Le Baassires on the ground floor - very French and attention to detail in the room was fantastic - large room and bathroom. Loved staying in this room - warm and welcoming and very comfortable bed.

We expored Avignon from here, we had a car and also toured to Gordes - best village we thought. Also, went to Roussillon- another lovely village and worth seeing, then went to a small village Bonnieux and Saignon. Last village on our day trip was Isle sur la Sorgue - delightful small town on the River Sorgue. Just a few hints of villages worth seeing! We also went to see the amazing Pont due Guard - outstanding and the village of Uzes and Nimes where they having the most amazing amphitheatre.

Provence is a very special area of France and to stay at Las Bastide des Anges was a real delight. Thankyou Beatrice for helping us out with our plug dilemma - our saviour!

If you want a very special bed and breakfast - stay at La Bastide des Anges - you won't be disappointed. Everything is perfect.

This B and B is lovely. Our room was delightful. We had a balcony and a huge bathroom with a bath tub!! Luxury. The standard of food, the helpful advice about tourist sights and restaurants and the warmth and friendliness of Beatrice made our three night stay seem way too brief. The lounge area and the availabilty of a kitchen, where not only can you make a tea or coffee but you can cook a meal if you are so inclined is very useful when you relax and dont feel like driving somewhere to dine. This is a wonderful place and you would be crazy to look elsewhere for somewhere to stay in this region..... highly recommend,...

Believe the 5 star reviews you read about this place - it fully lives up to the top reviews it has attracted and will not disappoint. Gracious hosts Beatrice and Florent provide a stylish and comfortable b&b accommodation in what feels like a rural setting....and yet you are within an easy 10 minute drive of all the historic sights of charming Avignon. This is THE place to stay. You can use the river shuttle from the isle of barthelasse where B des A is situated, to cross past the famous bridge and to access all the sites/sights. Try Le Bercail restaurant - book to get a riverside table with fabulous views at sunset. Would always choose to stay here when visiting Avignon.

Spent four nights at this lovely B & B outside of Avignon. We used it as a base to explore Provence. Beatrice was a perfect host who offered us a "good" map to use on our road trip. The breakfast had locally made jams, and juices. Bakery fresh breads and interesting cheeses. The room was huge with a rain shower. There's a large open space with couches, TV and a full kitchen. Spotlessly clean.

I booked this B&B after reading previous reviews, and I must say that some of what has been said is true. Beatrice is a wonderful hostess, and the rooms are comfortable. However, I had to do some business while in Avignon, and I was relying on the Internet (wifi) available in my room (les Ocres). Only after arriving did I find that I could access the wifi only from a small table in the guest kitchen (common area), and even then the signal was very weak. Not the best place for privacy while using my iPad. In addition, when my husband and another guest wanted to check the international news on the common room tv (advertised as having international channels), they found that the tv doesn't work. Not quite the perfect stay we were hoping for,

My husband and I stayed here for 6 days in early June. It was one if the highlights of our European vacation, a gem in the country but with easy access to Avignon. Mme Beatrice is a warm and friendly hostess who provides a wonderful breakfast. We stayed in the Festivale room which was very spacious. The bathroom was bigger than our entire hotel room in Paris! You won't find a better gites (b&b) and it is a steal price wise. A car is a must but what better way to explore Provence than to have this as your base handy to the old walled city of Avignon. We parked in the free huge carpark on the island and walked across the bridge ino the old city on most days. A wonderful experience which made Avignon the one place on our trip we would like to move to.

A totally great place, private, beautiful B&B minutes away from Avignon. We stayed 4 nights in La Bastide des Anges, then moved to Hotel de l'Amphitheatre in Arles and stayed in their best room ( Suite Belvedere), but in comparison to our room in La Bastide des Anges was impossible to compare, La Bastide is the sure winner. I'd come back to Bastide des Anges without hesitation, but they were full. Our room was Baiassiere, huge, light, with a very big bathroom space, we were in love with our room. The owners are the nicest people, friendly, they let their guests use the kitchen and barbecue facilities, so 2 nights we stayed in the garden of B&B, sipping excellent Chateauneuf -du-Pape wines we bought at local wineries, and having local cheese, etc.
Breakfast is included and is very good (not the American breakfast, but home made yogurt, breads, croissant, fresh juice, jams, coffe/tea, all very tasty).
This place is Highly recommended.

The location is in the country, about 5 kms from Avignon, perfect for cyclists like us, but otherwise a car is necessary. The house is beautifully decorated, our room was large and comfortable. There is a pleasant patio for afternoons in good weather. The breakfasts were excellent, even with eggs one day, a rarity in France.
