This hotel is located in a narrow street in the heart of Arles - rue de la Calade. It is centuries old and has a wonderful faded grandeur about. The proprietor is a wonderful lady of senior years, and is most pleasant, welcoming and efficient. The hotel has limited facilities, but spotlessly clean. It has excellent wi - fi.

We stayed here in July 2015 and returned in July 2016. While the room last year was simple but convenient, this year's room was in desperate need of work. We could hear every noise from the rooms above and next to us. The entrance hall is well done and the hotel is conveniently located in the city center, but the...

This wonderful historic and grand building badly needs restoration, new bathrooms, new carpets, and yes just paint. It would also be nice if breakfast was served from the published time, if the windows were openable, broken lightbulbs replaced, and if little details like the soap dispenser didn't fall apart in your hands.

Simple and clean hotel ideally located right in the center of town, next to the newly opened Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation. Some rooms have been refurbished, but don't expect any luxury. Nice and helpful staff. Good value for money.

The only positive thing is the central position of the hotel. The wifi signal was ridicolous, almost no signal in our room. The staff doesn't speak english at all. There was an event in the city with the impossibility to reach the parking: nowhere was indicated this thing. The bathroom was like a swimming pool after each shower. The hotel...

Initially you walk in & the grand entrance looks promising. Have a look then turn around! Miserable comes to mind! Out of date. Unkept. Unhelpful staff. A real disappointment. Our party had 2 rooms. One was like a furniture junk yard & the toilet leaked with no seat, wasn't fixed, & a hole in the floor with a Matt on...

After having great difficulty navigating the tiny streets in Arles, we arrived at the hotel, staff immediately took our car for us and we checked right in with no problem, reservation through Booking.com. The room was very large, a strange and wonderful mix of very old with new fixtures, a beautiful new tiled bathroom, and ancient full french windows that...

When you are asked to pay up-front on arrival without even being shown your room, you know there is going to be a problem! Especially, when you are also told on arrival that the price quoted to you does not include VAT - and you are immediately charged another 10%! (Definitely not on the paperwork.) "Suite 16" (now at 140...

We were pleasantly surprised by the nice decor of the hotel, but the first impression was not good. We booked this hotel on booking.com and there was no mention of the reception being closed. We arrived at 1:30 and there was no-one around we banged and banged on the door but to no avail. We eventually walked to the tourist...

We needed a hotel to overnight in Arles. We found the Hotel St Trophime near the ND St Trophime and booked a room for $96. I was bare bones and very dated. It needed a through cleaning. No A/C. I left the window ajar to get some circulation and get the musty smell out. Traffic and street noises made for...
