We stayed at Calendal in mid-Sept, attracted to its good review on tripadvisor and the lovely room pics on its official website. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was friendly to greet us and said she would show us our room first and then directed us to the parking lot. She was very nice to come with us...

My family and I split 2 rooms over 1 night at Le Calendal in early September. You just can't beat the location! Breakfast isn't included, but the cafe downstairs is good for some coffee and croissants. Wifi was good and computers were available downstairs by the lobby. If you're driving, pick up a helpful map from the front desk...it was...

The service provided from the moment we entered the hotel to our departure was exceptional. One example explains it all. We were due to take a train to Paris when we checked out of the hotel the next morning. The concierge kindly ordered a cab for us. At the appointed hour, no cab appeared; the concierge called to confirm, yes,...

Stayed in a quadruple room which was actually two interconnecting rooms with decent beds in each that shared a lovely bathroom with a great big bath which after a week on a campsite was very welcome. The rooms were quite small but well furnished and very clean. We even had a little balcony but unfornuately no view. Check in was...

We are a family of three who stayed at Le Calendal in late july 2011. My wife and me and our teenage son. We stayed in a 4-bed family room with balcony. The room itself was not very impressive but it had comfortable beds, well cleaned, and had a very nice and clean bathroom. The staff at the Le Calendal...

Arles is one of our favorite cities in Provence, but after several visits, we still had not found the ideal hotel. Now we have found it! Le Calendal is an older hotel, so rooms vary in size and in configuration—but we loved our large room with its spacious bathroom. The bed was firm, and it was very quiet for sleeping....

The hotel could not have a better location! It is right smack in the center of the historic center of Arles, between the Roman Amphitheater and Arena! It has a great little cafe as well as a restaurant, and is in a cute, historic building. It also houses a spa with a small pool. But, because Arles is so well...
