We spent a night at the Hotel de la Muette and were more than pleased. The décor was charming, the room well-equipped (even a kettle, unusual in France), the bed very comfortable and the shower contemporary and powerful. The Muette staff were more than helpful, especially in guiding our car via those narrow one-way streets to the hotel, which is...

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. The couple that runs the place are very friendly and the general service is really good. So is the breakfast. The location is second to none and you will never forget this little pearl in the middle of Arles - merci!

This hotel is situated in the old part of Arles and you have to pass through narrow streets to get there, but it is worth the effort. The hotel building is very old and even if it has been modernised the old building is still to be recognised, at least in the room we had. It is very nice but...

Excellent/friendly service. Taxis are an issue in Arles. But not for us. The owner personally transported us to and from the train station. We will definitely stay here again! Everone was friendly and bent over backwards to assist us in making our stay enjoyable.

Our host M. Alain de Planck was exceptionally helpful, fluent in English and very knowledgeable. He arranged prepaid parking at an undercover and guarded city lot less than 1/2 mile walk from hotel. We had a very nice well-equipped room on the first floor with a great shower etc. We stayed two nights and plan to come back! (10 trips...

We really enjoyed our stay in La Muette. Although the room was quite small, it was well organized and very clean. Breakfast also was very well done. Finally, the staff were all very friendly, and made us feel welcome.

Once again Rick Steves came through. We are so delighted that this quaint, friendly, charming hotel had rooms for our requested dates. We stayed 3 nights and couldn't have been more please with the service, and the great full breakfast. It is centrally located and easy to get to from the train station, especially with the signs that are posted...

10 minute walk from Train Station. A little hard to find but there are several signs giving you directions. Clean, good breakfast, very close to all the sights and many restaurants. Helpful staff. Shower has no door so if you are not careful you will wet the whole bathroom. Wifi fairly stable. Helpful staff. Driving and parking might be a...

Very nice 3-day stay at the Hotel. The room was lovely and included a small fridge, which we always like. The owners and staff were very helpful to us, and thankfully spoke English! :-) We always appreciate when a good, full breakfast is included. We had to get up early one morning for a tour, and they made sure breakfast...

Our room had ancient exposed brickwork and a thoroughly modern bathroom. It wasn't large, but the ceilings are tall and the room is airy. Breakfast was lovely (especially for my English husband, who could soft-boil his own eggs). The people there, Brigitte and Alain and all their staff, are delightful. The only downside: garbage in Arles is picked up almost...
