We stayed 4 nights with Keith and Val and wished it could have been longer. It is a lovely place in a lovely quiet village. The accommodation was great and Keith and Val are super cooks. The area is beautiful with many interesting places to visit nearby - castles, churches, museums etc. Lots of lovely local food.

We only stayed one night but wished we had booked more. Our room was good and just off a large lounge where there were tea/ coffee facilities and a fridge for our use. The whole place is lovely and the icing on cake was the pool. Keith gave us towels and after a long drive it was wonderful. We awoke...

Warm welcome from all including Jasper and Bella, lovely large room with comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Pity about the cold weather in early July that didn't encourage us to use the pool. Only question was about dinner. We were not offered the option in advance or when we arrived, the local restaurant is only open at weekends and so...

You'll need a car to go there, but then, you'll regret to have to use it to come back... I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, the spacious bed and the calm of the neighbourhood. I'd say it's the perfect place to avoid the noise of the city.

We stayed with val and Keith on Thursday 31st July 2014, and we cannot thank them enough. We had a long 10hour drive from Dover, and arrived just after 5. Val and Keith welcomed us with open arms, like friends. The pool was Devine, made perfect by Keith bringing us beers on the pool side. Dinner was outstanding, catering for...

Only too short as the main reason for our visit was a family wedding nearby. A lovely old French house with lots of charm on the middle of a village with a good restaurant. Despite odd hours we could not have been more welcome.
