This is not just a golf hotel but is the perfect location beside a beautiful lake for walking, boating and certainly bird watching. We saw Swans, Coots, Cormorants, Ducks and Glebe being just a few. We parked, booked in at reception and took the lift to the second floor. Lovely big room, modern with exceptionally large bed (super king size)... More

At our last visit we could not have the room we had book. We were downgraded into a very shabby ground floor room. After quite some time we tried the premises again and again the same picture. On top we received mails with the following remarks: « Sorry but we not accept the dog in the room elegance, we accept exceptionnaly... More

We stayed at this hotel in August on the way back from Beaune in August. Great for a one night stop over. Make sure you book on the 2nd floor though if you want air conditioning in your room. We were on the first floor at it was very hot in the night. Rooms spacious and clean. We ate in... More

OK, the decor is a bit dated but the view from the bedroom (second floor over lake) more than compensates for this. A very peaceful setting with a large car park. I ate in the restaurant both nights and while the starters & puds were good, the main course, especially the beef stew was a bit lacking in veg. Chunks of... More

2nd visit to this hotel which we used as stopover on way to Calais. It is 15/20 minutes from motorway, but for us it's worth it. Lovely setting by lake and on golf course ( if you want it) Rooms a little tired and worn , but clean and suitable for the purpose. Very clean and comfortable bed. Very relaxing... More

We had a one night stopover at this hotel on the way to Calais. It seemed like a relatively long drive from the motorway (20 mins or so), but compared to the usual Ibis/Campanile type motorway stopover it was a real oasis for a similar price. We booked on the day through the hotel website and the price was Eur... More

Lovely setting on the resevoir/lake, natural peaceful and calm. Friendly helpful reception on arrival and nice having dinner outside with a view of the family of coypu on the banks of the lake. Disliked the room- dated, drab and uninteresting, time for a makeover or redecoration. Everything is brown, brown, brown and a bit of sage green. probably modern some 20 years... More

Family room was tired( wallpaper peeling off, drill holes in the wall & blackening of the silicone and grout around the bath. Extremely slow service at the bar and in restaurant. Location of hotel was great as a stop over enroute to Calais. Surroundings are excellent it's just the quality of the room and service that lets it down.

After driving from Calais and arriving at 10pm we wanted to eat straight away, my partner and i had a very tasty steak which was cooked very well and a nice cold beer, very reasonably priced. The bedroom was nice, although a few large stains on the carpet which should be removed, however we were there for a few hours... More

We have eaten at the restaurant on a couple of visits to the area. The new terrace at the edge of the lake is very nice and on a warm summer evening a perfect place to eat while you watch the wildlife on the water. Crested Grebes diving for small fish and a European beaver paddling past while we were... More
