This Kyriad hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Saumur, loads of restaurants in the doorstep, the Loire a very short walk away. Parking in the Carrefour car park opposite is €9 for the night (the reception staff didn't seem able to access the underground hotel car park but Carrefour is convenient soo problem). Our room was tiny, filled by the small double bed, and the bathroom so small the hairdryer on the wall required careful circumvention. Access was purely by a series of steep stairs, so if there is any physical difficulty in negotiating stairs make sure your needs are clear when booking. This was a three star experience in a three star hotel, but the location is perfect.

First of all I want to say what a super location for the centre this hotel is. The staff were really friendly, as we had not booked the under carpark it was full but the carforre opposite has a carpark .
Positives , bed comfortable and air con very good in room.
Be aware it is a 3 star and the rooms are very small, think it’s smallest room we’ve ever stayed in but as a 1 night
Stopover is fine . The hotel does have a pool and spa area- be aware this is not complimentary but €20 per person . No idea what it’s like as we didn’t use.
We enjoyed the breakfast , decent continental which I think was €13 each.
If you want a comfortable well located short stay budget hotel, this is a good choice.

Very recently renovated hotel, impeccable cleanliness, superb shower and bathroom, very good bedding. Absolutely appreciable silence (relative to the outside but also to the other rooms!). Full breakfast. Very welcoming and attentive staff. I had booked a two-room apartment to leave the room to my elderly dad, and we slept my daughter and I in the sofa bed, already ready on arrival and very comfortable. Take a parking space, otherwise impossible to park in the center... Sleeping in the "living room" I noticed that the night light of the thermostat of the heating (well!) illuminates the room at night, ..it is a detail but it can bother some people. Also, there are a few steps here and there in the corridors. This did not bother us, but, as indicated on the site, PMR access indeed impossible. I highly recommend it.

Spent one night. Well located property within walking distance of the river, the main sites and several shops and restaurants. Reasonably quiet. Most rooms can't be reached directly by elevator: to get to mine (2 floors above ground) from the elevator landing I had to go through two heavy doors, several steps up and down and a short winding staircase in front of the room door. The room was tiny and windowless; it had a skylight. Comfortable bed and pillows. Sufficient number of well located power outlets. Amenities included an electric kettle. A/C worked well.

We were also locked out because we left the hotel during breakfast time the reception was closed and no one came to help us before the opening time of the hotel. Despite repeated attempts to contact the staff we were told to wait for the hotel to open. As far as we saw after there was a code for night entrances, this was not reported to us at check in and we had to wait in the car with a temperature of 6 degrees.
