We booked a night in Nantes as a break in the journey further south having taken the Poole Cherbourg ferry. As a family of five not every hotel can accommodate all in one room but the chateaubriand had a room with a double bunk bed and a single. The room and corridors are freshly decorated and clean, and importantly for...

Spent a weekend here with some friends watching the Euros, we all had a double room each, the rooms were on the smallish side but with just one person in they are fine. Beds & Pillows were comfy and there is a TV but obviously in French, there is no air con so i suspect in the heat of summer...

This hotel is in a great location with good access to trams and a wide range of restaurants. We picked it because it is a "logis" member and hotel de charme. Initial appearances were not good. It's an old property with limited space. There's limited parking and rooms while small were clean and comfortable. The one soap dispenser was badly...

We heard that the rooms were small which was fine, but the shower was so small you could barely move around! The rooms are nice and clean though. We had to ask for a kettle and you will need to bring your own tea/coffee ect if you want it. The staff are really friendly (when they are there). On the...

This hotel is in a great location - five minute walk to the main restaurant and bar areas of Nantes. We stayed in a family room which was spotlessly clean, the beds and mattresses were all new and comfortable. However the room was tiny. It fitted a double bunk bed (top bunk had very limited head room) and a single...

The hotel is ideally situated close to the town centre, tram line and plenty of restaurants. There is the added advantage of secure car parking. We were told on booking that reception opened at 5pm (possibly closed to keep costs down) but that wasn't a problem for us. The room was compact, clean and tidy and ideal for an overnight...

Like other reviewers, I found the property decent but not outstanding. To begin with, the door was locked at 1pm. I rang the bell and waited nearly five minutes before the receptionist arrived. She was friendly enough and wanted to be helpful. However, there was mutual confusion on the reservation, a recurring theme throughout the stay. Staff was courteous, but...

Stayed with my husband for two nights in late SeptemberThis hotel has an excellent location fairly central and close to the 50 otages tram stop and Talensac market and many decent cafes and restaurants. The rooms, as other reviewers have said, are newly and tastefully renovated but very small. Unhappily they are also very loud and we were disturbed at...
