Hotel Absinthe scores on several points, above all on location: it is a few metres around the corner from the wonderful old port, but occupying a characterful small street front of its own. The interior is warmly traditional, but with modern comforts. And the welcome is warm and efficient. We couldn’t have wished for a better spot on this first...

Lovely, quaint, small hotel on the waterfront. Very central, but located just away from the main (very busy!) central harbour. Nicely decorated, and very comfortable rooms - Room 2 has a lovely double aspect over the cobbled side streets. Reasonable priced, although parking and breakfast is extra. Would stay again.

The title of my review says the most important things, I think. Breakfast was nice, too. Don't park in the private parking, even though it's free--it's too far from the hotel. Park across the street near the water in the public lot. The reception desk is a little tricky to find, but rather in a fun, this-is-an-ancient-village way. It's actually...

These are the types of hotels I love. Small, cozy, feels like home. You wlk in to a nice little reception area ( after parking in their private secure parking, not eveident to find parking near by on street), and you are instantly greeted with a friendly hello. The main buidling has the breakfast room and a nice lounge area...

Our major problem here was finding the hotel in the first place. The actual hotel has no address on it, and there is a place named Absinthe Hotel around the corner from where you have to register but there is no sign there directing you to the place you need to go. Also, there is no one at the desk...

We stayed for 1 night in this delightful hotel in the center of Honfleur. If you are looking for a hotel with lots of character, then this is the place for you. The beds were very soft and the room was a lovely temperature thanks to the air-conditioner. Bathroom was well equipped and clean. We decided to look around in...

This is a lovely old building full of solid timber, stone, stained glass and tiled floors, set right on the edge of the harbour. The reception is lovely, with its large stone fireplace and solid timber framing, plenty of tourist information and facilities for making tea and coffee throughout the day, which is a welcome touch. Just beyond is a...

Quaint hotel in a great location.Supper view of the harbor. Close to all the action in a lovely town. Very accommodating staff. Well equipped and comfortable bathroom. No elevator. Internet in and out. Parking off the street but a short walk away. We would stay again.

Our party of 2 stayed here for 3 nights. Our standard room was comfortable and quite roomy. Able to deal with baggage, etc. needed for a 2 week stay in France. Staff were pleasant, but we didn't ask much because everything we needed was provided. As others have said, just steps from the harbor and also convenient, therefore, to the...

L'Absinthe is a charming hotel with it's architecture and stained glass windows, warm welcoming fire in the comfortable lobby, and beautifully set up breakfast room (the dishes, so pretty). Our room was small, but comfortable and very clean--the bed and pillows very nice for a good night's sleep. We had a jacuzzi tub which felt wonderful after a long day....
