Simply charming, very clean, nice bath. Very helpful via email before we arrived. Nathalie made dinner reservations, Francoise told us about the the local sights and the oysters! Tricky to find as it is up the hill above the town… once found it was a great little slice of a quiet neighborhood. Great breakfast: soft boiled egg, local cheeses, breads,... More

We were truly bowled over by the gorgeous manor set in it's own stunning grounds littered with ripe fruit trees. It was early September when we nipped over for a short 4 day break in this lovely area. It's a fantastic place to chill out and indeed, the wonderfully relaxed breakfasts (taken outside when the weather permits) served on family... More

We enoyed our stay very much, having overcome the fearsome directions for getting there !! Francois was extremely help with maps, and suggestions for Restaurants in Honfleur, and bang on too ! Also for buying Calvados, which we could taste - but get there before they close at 12:00 midday sharp !! Clothes Hooks in the bathroom would be useful,... More

Our family of 3 enjoyed our stay at Le Manoir. We were graciously met by Francois, who served us homemade, delicious cider, while helping us plan our 4 days in the Honfleur region. We instantly felt welcome and enjoyed our time getting to know our host. He provided maps, off the beaten path sites and restaurants ideas, all for our... More

We stayed at the place for 2 days as part of a trip through Normandie and Bretagne. We were nicely welcomed and got a first taste of the cider that is now legendary with us and our family. We'd greatly recommend anyone going to Honfleur to stay at this place. Be sure to check out the restaurant recommendations given by... More

Great B&B with excellent breakfast situated on top of the hill, just above the old town. We stayed in the Colonial room with themed decorations, a nice bed and bathroom. The owner really took his time in the mornings to give us excellent tips on where to go and what to see, provided maps, directions, Honfleur restaurant recommendations, etc., which... More

If you're looking for charm, quiet and comfort, then this is the place for you. If you are a blues or jazz fan, you will enjoy listening to some of the unique recordings in M. Desalos' collection. We certainly enjoyed our stay in this lovely old manor house.

This is a wonderful house and a great base to explore Normandy. The house is quiet and beautiful in lovely grounds. Our 'romantic suite' was just that, very cosy and romantic. We were very comfortable indeed and the rooms were really lovely. At night it was so quiet and peaceful and we slept better than we have for years. Our... More

A beautiful old cider which has been tastefully renovated with great care to create a comfortable and peaceful home from home. Set in such a tranquil setting you can hear a pin drop at night. The English don't generally rate French breakfasts but that is not the case at the Le Manoir. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and the... More
