My wife and I wanted one night in Honfleur and instead of one of the nice hotels decided on a suite in this place. The room was stunning and the experience just perfect. It was a very cold night but the room was well heated. Breakfast was waiting for us in the morning and the staff were very friendly and...

First impressions of the hotel were amazing. It was cutely decorated, cosy and beautiful. Even better than the photos look. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly lady and given a choice of tea whilst she sorted out our room and check-in. We were made to feel at home.  Our suite was equally cute and cosy but was up...

My wife and I stayed here back in April 2012. It is an old school house dating back to 1878. The rooms having been tastefully converted from classrooms. The accommodation was excellent, breakfast was all home made fare and a wide choice from breads, cheeses, cold meats, conserves to cooked meals of your choice. The reception from the lady owner...

We were so lucky to discover this place: a nice small school for girls from the 18th century refurbished with an amazing taste, to make you feel at home. Everything at l'Ecole Buissonniere is nice: the rooms, the hostess, the food...We didn't want to leave. A very nice, cozy and intimate place, well situated within a very small walking distance...

Stayed for 2 nights to enjoy the atomosphere of Honfleur and re-visit Normandy. The hotel is a gem. tastefully quirky and beautifully clean, the rooms are french, fun and charming. great access to the harbour and restuarants. Breakfast was good - a traditional french style and a great range of teas. The staff were lovely and friendly. This is a...

L'ecole Buissoniere is definitely a charming hotel but may not be the best choice for seniors or travelers with any sort of mobility issues or feline allergies. Parking is a nightmare and unless you can read French, you will not be able to figure out where you can park without risking steep fines or towing. Roads are narrow and a...

This is clearly on of the most charming places to stay once inside. Breakfast was good, location was GREAT, STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT; HOWEVER, stairs to room were almost impossible (dangerous, unstable, very narrow, ok if your under 60),;Parking ~12 euro per day,,was 3 blocks away; price was higher than appropriate; owner spoke NO ENGLISH; no inroom internet wifi; no...

My husband and I stayed in the room with a terrace for 4 nights. I'm so glad we chose to stay here. It was more than we typically spend for a hotel but thought we'd splurge this time. We more than enjoyed our stay and were so sad to leave. The delicious breakfasts offer many homemade selections (fruit breads, crepes,...

By accident we stumbeled upon this "chambres d'hôtes", strolling around in the lovely, historic place called Honfleur. We were looking for a nice, idyllic, charming hotelroom, when all of a sudden, we saw a little attractive "tea-room" in an fairytale-like garden, and as a surprise it also happened to be a bed and breakfast...and they had a room available! Sylvia...
