I enjoy Miromesnil. This was my third visit and the family who own it are extremely friendly and welcoming and dedicated to their task of conserving this fabulous place. The brick facade gives off a warm glow in the late afternoon sun and this is extremely charming but it is the super kitchen garden which is the focus. Here an...

The owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Our room overlooked the main entrance and the grounds and avenue of trees. The Chateau also has several rooms set up as a museum full of interesting history. The gardens is well worth a visit with the most amazing potager full of wonderful flowers and vegetables. The perfect stop on...

This is a lovely place to visit and is only 20 minutes south of Dieppe. Unfortunately the guided tour is only in French and because it is quite detailed, it makes it a slightly too long visit inside the chateau for us with limited French. But there is a text in English to gice a brief overview. The setting etc...

Haute Normandy is a lovely region with many gems. One of these is the family-owned Chateau de Miromesnil. Websites will tell you this is a 17th century castle that was later modified to a palace, set in a large landscaped garden. You can park, for free, under a row of tall trees and then walk a few hundred meters to...

We stayed for 2 nights, Saturday and Sunday the 16th and 17th of July. We took the smaller, less prestigious room, Le Nid, situated on the third floor while our friends had the second floor room with large bathroom and terrace. Whilst there was an obvious difference in the type of room, ours had a lovely shower room with a...

This chateau and park are worth a visit when in Normandy. Have a tour in the chateau and see the authentic rooms on the ground floor - also the room where Guy de Maupassant was born. The potager and park are impressive! There is also a small shop with lots of presents. The chateau has rooms for B&B and there...

When we arrived we were not sure what we had let ourselves in for, but once we had found the owner, we were taken to a lovely corner room on the first floor of the chateau and a large bathroom with modern appliances. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with excellent towels and plenty of hot water. The views...
