I made a booking here and was given confirmaton vial email but arrived to a closed home. We waited around but no one answered the door. There neighbours who also run a B&B were ever so helpful in assisting us to find a place to stay.

Once again we booked our room based on other traveler's recommendations, but we were not as impressed with the B&B as the other travelers. We were quite surprised and disappointed by the neglected state the garden and is in. Gilles informed us that the B&B was featured in an architectural profile, unsure why - possibly because the original building was...

Les Jardins d'Helene fit our needs perfectly - a comfortable, cozy B&B for one night that set us up nicely for a visit to Monet's Garden. Gilles met us at the front gate and showed us to our room which overlooked the beautiful garden out back. It was like staying at your grandmother's. The room', which was done in a...

We concur with the positive sentiments expressed in the vast majority of reviews for this quaint, quiet, well located B&B. We spent a week in Normandy and wanted to visit Monet's Gardens before departing from Charles deGaule Airport. So we booked ourselves into Les Jardins dHelene for the evening before our flight. We were met by Giles at 2 and...

My husband and I visited Paris, Loire Valley and Normandy recently and Giverny was our last stop before returning to Paris for our flight home. I can't add much more to the previous reviews except to agree with them that this was a most charming spot, and we had the best night's sleep of anyplace we stayed! Gilles was charming...

Recently returned from a visit to Giverny where a friend and I enjoyed a delightful two-night stay at Les Jardins d'Helene. The accommodations were lovely, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served, with a background of classical music. Presiding over all was Gilles, a charming, gracious and most helpful host who went out of his way to give...

I will remember this place forever. So lovely. The house was spectacular, with many antiques and original touches. The host was welcoming and very helpful. Giverny was straight out of a fairy tale. One of the most lovely places I have ever been to.

I stayed here a couple weeks ago with my husband and parents. It really is quite lovely. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. The owners were very nice, they sold us discounted tickets to the Gardens and made dinner reservations and gave us directions for a beautiful restaurant about 10 minutes out of town called Restaurant le Moulin de...

Lovely old early 1900s house, set in the peaceful and welcoming village of Giverny, no wonder Monet chose to live and work in this village. From our room, the Barcarolle tastefully decorated in the period and it's huge bathroom we had a full view of the large garden. Gilles was the perfect host and made us feel most welcome and...

Afterwords we went to Paris in a 3 starr hotel, and is was terrible, what a small room, small bathroom with shower and terrible breakfast. We where homesick for Gilles and...

At the gates of Normandy,75 kms from Paris, Giverny the heart of Impressionism offers beautiful landscapes and the charm of the french countryside.
