Stayed here for 4 nights as this was the designated hotel chosen by Leger for the Normandy Battlefields (D Day) tours. In truth you get what you pay for. As a base to tour the battlefields from it was ideal in that it was close to the main action but not hampered by being within the City and all the...

Second time of staying here, both times with Leger for d day battlefield tour. Excellent tour and guide by the way. The hotel doesn't seem to have changed much in 5 years, breakfast basic but plentiful, rooms clean and tidy, bar very small. We didn't sample the evening meal but feedback from other guests wasn't positive. Well known fast food outlet over the road...

Very basic but clean with helpful and friendly staff. Ideal for reaching ferry port and the Caen memorial gardens and d day beaches all within easy reach. Had an evening meal which was ver y nice and very reasonable. Litre of. Wine for 11euros and was very good.

People were a bit disparaging about this little hotel, but we thought as a quick night stop over it was all right. Our room was at the top (2 flights) and had a big picture window with views across the fields at the very back. the sun shone in and it was clean and bright and cheerful. In fact the...

We stayed here with a Leger Holidays coach tour. The room was adequate, but no air conditioning, and the hotel is situated by the side of a busy dual carriageway, so we did have the window open all night, but you could hear the traffic. Breakfast was self service, and was nice. We didn't dine in the evening in the...

Room was small but nice, clean and cozy. We stayed on lower level with an added door opened to the courtyard. Breakfast buffet is available on-site with additional charge. Options included fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, cereal, boiled eggs, English muffins, toast, cheese, cold cuts, coffee, tea, milk, fresh orange and apple juices, the usual jam, butter, honey. Location is very...

Quite small room, but very welcoming and friendly staff. A bit 'ordinary' but not unpleasant. If you're planning a trip to the Caen Memorial, this hotel is very well-positioned, but don't expect luxury. A bit of noise from cars starting in the car park if one is on the ground floor at the front.

Stayed 4 nights to visit battlefields. Carpet in the room was filthy, no drawers to put things in. No wardrobe, just a rail on the wall. Paper cups provided for making tea with two very small portions of milk. It's like staying on an industrial estate. Only choice for food is McDonalds or Chinese opposite. We ate one night in...

Stayed 2 nights on visits to the beaches and memorial museums, etc. Great location, the museum is really close by, you can literally walk! We found the night clerk, VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, I wish I took her name down, she did her best in English and it was certainly appreciated. The rooms are small, I compare them to dormitory...

Stayed for two nights. Touring the WWII battlefields. Really not overly impressed. Hotel is run down some of the staff are not overly friendly/polite, yet others are very happy to help. Only redeeming fact is the food in hotel is reasonable although I felt expensive. Rooms are very tired, shower didn't have a rail to alter height , so just...
