This hotel is very basic, more like a motel than a hotel... Decor quite dated, rooms ok at size and tidy. Breakfast was a real disapointment! Very close to the Memorial wich was a good thing. Good jogging routes nearby.

Dear Mr or Mrs We would like to thank you for your comment. The Kyriad hotel has become a Brithotel since the 01 of december. Among the changes planned, we are going to change and improve the breakfast and make some restoration work next year. Best regards

Hotel is just outside caen, walking distance to memorial museum which is definitely worth a visit, hotel has own car park. Staff helpful spoke English when didn't understand my muttered rubbish French. Rooms cleaned each day fresh towels , not very expensive so all in all very happy and would stay again.

Nice basic hotel, good beds, clean bathroom with bathtub, fair WIFI connection. City center is about 10-15 mins (depending on traffic). I parked the car in the underground parking at Center Paul Doumer (under Ibis hotel). Dinner tip: Pizza Rustica in the Rue Froide (street allong the church) has very good pizzas

Stayed here as part of a large group. On arrival none of the rooms were ready and my room was still not fully ready by the time I went to bed that evening. The restaurant was not available on the first night as it had been fully booked by another party. Decor is terrible and very tired. Walls are paper...

We were booked here with for a group stay. The rooms are very well used and worn out. Toilets not working, gaps in walls between rooms, grubby walls and broken tiles...needs an overhaul. Breakfast was basically choice of croissant and chocolate pastry. Wifi slow and lacking.

The room smelled moldy, the curtain had mold on it, the bathroom smelled of urine, the beds squeak... The staff is friendly and when I asked to be moved they offered me a room up three flights of stairs with NO window. When she showed us the room that was "ready" the toilet had something in it and the cleaning...

Chose this hotel for convenience of on-site restaurant. Booked to stay Saturday night and after long drive we were told restaurant was closed. Reason given was chef's night off!! This is the second stay at a Kyriad hotel when restaurant was closed. Room and hotel interior were tired and certainly need modernising. Special thanks to Marie for excellent service. Emailed...

Our bus tour booked us rooms here for a weekend trip we had. The hotel was okay, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The breakfast was okay, definitely nothing special. The breakfast was very limited with a couple choices of breads, plain yogurt, one kind of cheese and some ham. There were a couple varieties of cold cereal and...
