We had a great stay at El Vigot Plaza. Room was good (bed a little hard?) and the breakfast was great. Lovely garden, off street parking available when we visited, but quiet on street free parking also available. Francois was very helpful and a great host. Caen is a lovely city and the B & B is about 2.5 km... More

We had a fantastic stay at El-Vigot plaza during the world equestrian games. Francois was a very welcoming host and his local knowledge was invaluable. The facilities were comfortable and had everything we required, including a fabulous french breakfast! Thank You!

We stayed here in July 2014. Nice room, with slidings doors to garden. Quiet residential area but shops etc nearby, free on-street parking. Breakfast was good. The mattress was a bit hard for our living but I guess that is a personal thing. The owner was very helpful (without being pushy), had lots of local information (places to eat and... More

We were here on our last two nights in France, to tour the D-Day beaches and visit the Bayeux Tapestries. Francois was a generous and exceptionally attentive host. The garden is beautiful. We walked to and from the train station, and to dinner in the downtown area, but it is a hike. You may wish to take a cab to... More

Nice place, a bit far from the centre (you need to take a bus or go by car). The room was lovely - nicely furnished and with a view to the garden - and very clean, the bathroom functional if a bit small (especially the basin!). Good continental breakfast, served in the room. The owner is welcoming and knowledgeable.

We absolutely loved staying in this B&B - the owners were very welcoming and informative. It was a real pleasure to sit out in the beautiful garden. It was very quiet and peaceful. We loved the breakfast too, coffee and fresh croissants! We definitely recommend staying here. Great value and friendly hosts, and handy for the city centre (near a... More

This B&B is very good value for your money. Situated near Caen centre François and Janine make you feel at home in their charming B&B. François can tell you all about the historic places you can visit in the area. His lovely wife Janine takes care of the beautiful garden which became our home during our stay here. How wonderful...
