My friends and I only had one night to stay in Normandy. We were so blessed to stay at Clos de Bellefontaine. The rooms were well appointed. Carole was so generous with information. Breakfast was delicious. When I come back to the region, I will stay here again.

My son and I stayed at Carole's home during a tour of Normandy and the beaches there. We stayed in the newly appointed attic room, Charme, which was perfect for us. Quiet, cool, and comfortable, the room has its own bath, although there's no shower stall...baths or a hand-held spray only. Regardless, it was a great value and spotless as...

We spent 2 nights here and were extremely impressed with the ambience, view, amazing home & beautiful treats for breakfast. Carol went out of her way to assist with an extra person 's accomodation close to us & provided valuable information for our experience. The bedroom, bathroom & sitting room were extremely well presented, very comfortable and very clean. Spectacular...

French hospitality par excellence. We couldn't have been more delighted with our several-night stay, with the sumptuous breakfasts (pastries, jams and local cheeses, etc. that changed every day), the elegant interiors, the lovingly-maintained garden, and the wonderful hosts. We stayed in the larger of the two rooms, and reveled in the spaciousness. The 160 year-old house has been lovingly restored...

Staying at Clos de Bellefontaine was one of the highlights of our trip to Normandy. There were so many special touches! This was a great location for Bayeux and beyond (D-Day sights; Mont St. Michel). The accommodations were lovely, the breakfast bountiful, and the assistance and travel advice from Carole was gracious and very helpful. A wonderful experience!

On a linear tour in a 1915 Model T Ford from Ipers to Bayeux, we had the fortune to find a residence of character and hosts with a bountiful supply of hospitality where we stayed for two nights on the final, leg of our journey to Cherbourg in May. What a surprise we had in store. Beautiful and welcoming home, delicious...

The moment we walked into the house, Carole made us feel as though we were dear friends and not only guests in her lovely home. She has thought of everyday detail to make the stay comfortable and encourages the feeling of being at home.
