Our stay at the Hotel Le Bayeux was wonderful! The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially as we needed their help to check on our train during the recent strike. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious, and the tours arranged through the hotel were both wonderful! The hotel is in a great location, an...

This hotel has the most amazing staff! They are helpful, knowledgeable about the sights, and extremely friendly. Patricia was particularly attentive to our needs and questions. The location is excellent in terms of exploring the town! The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of hot and cold foods. We would stay again.

1. Fantastic location - just few minutes walk for the very centre of Bayeux. 2. Cosy, homely atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff - smiling and proactive 3. Clean rooms, free wi-fi - everything you really need on your stay We will definitely choose it again if back in Normandy.

We were moved from the main hotel to the 'chateu'. What a wonderful treat to stay in this centuries old estate. Wine in the garden was a daily event. Marie was a wonderful host, but Nathan was even better. They both added a lot to the enjoyment of our stay. Make sure you take advantage of the included breakfast, not...

Was here with a tour group doing the D-Day thing. Bayeux is a very quaint little town and is conveniently located for a Normandy tour. This was our second time in Bayeux and we liked Le Bayeux much more than the first hotel we stayed about 6 years prior. The service is very good, the rooms are clean and have...

This hotel had everything - exceptionally helpful personnel, location close to all the sights and the World War II museum, shopping, the tapestry and served a good breakfast. We definitely would recommend it to friends.

Overall this was a nice hotel; however I would not recommend staying in room #1. It is right by the front desk and you could hear people talking at all hours. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was good. We just didn't care for our room location.

Yes, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the English makes life easier for we Americans. That said, rooms are soundproof at all (you can be in bed and hear someone unlock their door across the hall, so that bad!), and their definition of a queen bed is two single beds pushed together. My biggest issue is that they...
