The owners were very nice and spoke some English. The suite we stayed in was on the top floor so a little hike to get to the top. We had a sitting room and a large bedroom. I would suggest they declutter and keep the rooms simple. The towels were obviously line dried which is common in Europe but they...

Stayed with another couple, although arrived at 17.45 were not able to access property until 19.45 as owners not there. They did let us know in advance but having left home at 07.30 we were not happy. Rooms were clean but very cluttered and beds were too small, only a standard double. There was never enough hot water for showers/baths...

A family member is gluten free at this B&B, so the 4 pieces of warm GF bread, homemade yogurt, banana custard, mounds of fresh fruit, fried egg, homemade preserves, and hot tea/coffee were a real treat for a celiac in France. The charming, "local" French feel made our stay perfect. We could easily walk to the La Pommier Restaurant for...

We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The bed is extremely comfortable, the room dark and the house very quiet. Bathroom also very big. The very best bit was the breakfasts - wow. Isabelle cooked up a feast that was a little different every day, but always with the staples of bread, spreads, home made yoghurt, eggs,...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while taking a tour of Normandy. The hosts were very helpful in providing transportation to and from the rail station. Our room was actually a town house with 2 bedrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. That provided a lot of privacy for my teenage granddaughter. We had a nice kitchen, eating...

We chose D&T because it was in the center of Bayeux, was a a B&B, and had WiFi. We were initially impressed by the fact that one of the owners, Isobel, emailed us and offered to give us a ride from the train to the B&B. When we arrived, there was no one to pick us up. No problem—as it...

We stayed 6 days and 5 nights at a beautiful, historic B&B with an utterly charming couple. I was a but worried about the fact that it was a 3rd floor walk-up. There was no need to. The steps quite low and easy to take. I had no problem even though I have a medical condition that usually makes steps...

In a month-long trip to Europe covering a number of countries, Dodo et Tartines was easily the single best accommodation we had. Isabelle Roquier's wonderful house and breakfasts will call us back in the future. Rather than a list of superlatives, we'll just say that one could not ask for better.

Charming B&B located a short walk from the center of Bayeux. This family-friendly place has a home-like feel, not in the least stuffy or pretentious. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and the healthful breakfast generous and tasty. Isabelle is engaging, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Well recommended.

Not a review for the B&B, but the little 2 bed house across the road rented out by the same owners. Great position close to the town centre. The owners were helpful without being intrusive. Parking was a little tight but we always found a space on Avenue George Clemenceau, where there is also a great little park for children....
