The staff was so friendly, helpful and spoke English. They were great at selecting restaurants (even called ahead for us for reservations or giving us a card for a free starter),letting us know what to do in Bayeux and calling a taxi. The shuttle service to St. Mont Michel was enjoyable. The driver spoke great English and we learned much...

Excellent Customer Service. We arrived to a warm welcome and immediate attention to our needs. The rooms were average, but the personal service was greatly appreciated. As we had an early departure the next morning they recommend a box breakfast for us to take which was greatly appreciated. We left some items in our safe after checkout, and they held...

I chose Hotel Churchill based on Rick Steves' recommendation and because I liked the hotel's history. It is a charming hotel in a perfect location. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was charming, very clean and reasonably priced. Our room was terrific - plenty of space in the bedroom, with a large bathroom (tub, shower and double sinks)...

We stayed in Bayeux as a base to visit various locations in northern and western France. There are several great tour options for visiting the Normandy beaches and WWII sites, as well as options for visiting Mont St. Michel. So, the city itself is a great location if you want to visit different sites in the region. The hotel is...

The Hotel Churchill is a charming base in Bayeux, close to train station and the heart of the town. Staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly, comfortable bed, nice breakfast and bar. Extremely reasonable rates, the best three star I have stayed in in Europe. Thanks to everyone there for making our trip so enjoyable, will return and recommend!

Very nice old European hotel. Fabulous location - minutes from cathedral, tapestry and tour meeting locations. Rooms small - but expected in Europe - and did not spend much time in room because of so much to do in the area anyway! Loved all the WWII memorabilia

An old and charming hotel full of WWII history. Situated perfectly in the heart of Bayeux the Churchill is an excellent choice for touring the Normandy battlefields. The rooms are good size and in great shape, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and they have a very nice bar for small gathering at the end of the day. Plenty...

Staff were very nice, rooms are small, but that is Europe, and it's a perfect base to visit the Normandy region. It's a very conveninent location for the organized tour pick up's and there is a lot to do in Bayeux itself.
