The hotel Is right in front of the Train Station and that's all Staff is not friendly at all, it seemed I was sleeping on a stone covered in sheets (my side of the bed was too hard), the pillow was paperthin, noisy all night long, with people arrasting heavy objects in the bar below the hotel, not a good... Called for a drink and food but decided against eating as it was expensive. Drinks were expensive too, no surprise. They were very busy but the service was quick enough. Won't be rushing back unless their prices come down. (Never stayed in the hotel so not able to comment).

Just returned from a four night stay at this hotel. After reading some of the reviews we thought the location and the price were still reasonable enough to give it a go..how wrong were we! We stayed in a room on the second floor that overlooked the metro. From morning until morning there were drunks stood around, one minute best... More

We booked months in advance a twin bedded room only to arrive and find none available, we were give a room with a double bed than sunk badly in the middle, oh our poor backs. Although the location is good, they appear to be more interested in the serving drinks and meals and not looking after ones accommodation needs. Because... More

We ate at the Napoleon and the service was very good and the waiter was very funny and friendly. Having said that, the food was poor, the steak and burgers our group had were very poor. The biggest killer was the 9 euros a beer we were charged. Not good beer and way over priced. My advice, there are far... More

We only had a meal in the Napoleon - glad we weren't staying there, even if it is convenient for the station. The staff were very friendly but the meal was truly poor - I'm sure mine had been re heated several times, and my husband's was just a large quantity of melted cheese poured over a slice of ham.... Positive: Location to the train stations. Everything was clean even though very worn and dated. Negative: It started off poorly. We were doubled billed for the hotel before we even left for our vacation - hadn't even slept there yet. Booking.com is trying to resolve it and the hotel said they would. We booked a room with an extra bed... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. It is a really good location, across from the station. There was a slight mix up with our room but they gave us a free coffee while they sorted it out and upgraded our room. The room was nice, really good shower. The people were very friendly and the cafe downstairs... More

Stayed overnight en route to Avignon, and it proved to be a good choice in a very convenient location. Typical old French hotel, slightly quirky, with the lights going out on occasion. Booked through booking.com - can't seem to book direct with the hotel. Reception in the busy bar, and convenient for train stations and no problem leaving luggage; we... More
