Hotel Arcades is just a 10 minute walk to the Grotto of Lourdes and the walk takes you through some of the best souvenir shops in Lourdes which are handy for those gifts and keep sakes you always want to take home, so it has a great location overlooking the river. The big plus for a three star hotel was...

We stayed here as a family for 3 night's in December. Lourdes is rather quiet at this time of year but we got bright sunshine during the day and saw the whole place without the usual noise and crowds - which was wonderful. The hotel is situated right on the river which is stunning. They were extremely welcoming and nothing...

Free parking as we stayed out of season which was a pleasant surprise. Speedy check in, very friendly & welcoming especially to our dog. Rooms very basic, 1970's basic but front of house and restaurant very modern so maybe updating in stages. Le grotte 5 mins walk and breaktaking. Plenty of gift shops around the town but no bars &...

This hotel's ground floor has been beautifully renovated after suffering floods twice. The lifts have been given a marvellous overhaul. The owner and staff are of an unbelievable friendliness and are always ready to help, including changing of menu according to the needs of the individual especially when dealing with the sick. Facilities for the disabled, including special bathrooms, are...

A great place to stay with great staff who went out of their way to make you feel at home. The equipe work hard to make you feel really welcome. The restaurant is good and the standard of the food is good. The ambiance is really pleasant and M Buscail the proprietor (and his family) are the nicest people who...

This hotel was very badly damaged by the flood in June 2013. We have used it often and called in knowing it was due to open to see if we could have a meal. The refurbishment is very smart. They were expecting the first group of the season and were happy to put on a meal for us, although the...

My experience with Jean Buscail and team over the years has been "formidable." Friends from Texas returned this year, sure to stop by and see old friends. Indeed, I look forward to the energetic repair of the hotel following the recent floods, in particular, the 2013 flood. The term "hospitality" is well defined by Buscail. I look forward to next...
