I have stayed at the Hotel d'Espagne 11 years in a row now, when I travel to Lourdes on Pilgrimage. There was a time when I would have given it a lower rating, however, since the most recent owners, it has improved greatly.
I stayed here during my pilgrimage and its location and amenities were perfect for the occasion. The rooms are quaint but sufficient. The food is catered according to your ethnicity which made it comforting.
Im 16 and I stayed at this hotel as part of a 50 or so youth pilgrimage from Liverpool, England. I wasn't expecting much and had heard some horror stories from past pilgrims who had stayed but most were settled on the first night.
