Hi I have stayed here on a number of solo trips to Lourdes and it is very quiet and about 5mins to the sanctuary. Staff are friendly and helpful and its lovely to look out onto the River Garv. The rooms are little dated and basic but clean and the beds comfortable.

Helpful and friendly staff made a very average hotel a little better. We stayed for a week in the height of summer and although the hotel was quite busy, the staff found time to be civil and friendly towards us when they could easily have not done. Our room was on the top floor (so had a decent balcony view)...

Great location, friendly staff, good size rooms, Wifi needs to be upgraded. Bathrooms a bit smelly. Tea/coffee needs to be in rooms. Other than that we had no issues although we did not use the restaurant to comment on the food.

I arrived, with my friend, at about 9.10pm after a lengthy but enjoyable journey. My friend had e mailed the hotel and asked if it would be possible for us to have a cold plate available on our arrival. We were greeted by Pierre, the owner, who suggested we go to our room and freshen up before eating in the...

My wife and I booked in to the Notre Dame de la Sarte on the 1st April 2015 for 8 nights. There were large groups booked in over the Easter period and we on the top floor (with a balcony and great view) away from the groups. On checking in we were greeted by name, and received a friendly welcome....

Pretty good, bit noisy. Decent prices for wine. Bit basic. Good location close to amenities. Just like the rest of Lourdes very busy with groups and I found I rather noisy with the lift going up and down all night because of the pilgrims. Not ideal for me but good basic accommodation. 10€ for a bottle of good vino!

We were changed to the Notre Dame de la Sarte at short notice. However, the staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit, rooms clean with good space, food good and varied and an ideal location close to St Joseph's Gate.

We've spent 4 nights here. It is very clean, and excellent value for money. It could be more modern, but it was really cheap. The staff is extra friendly, tries to accommodate every wish you have (even asks rooms service to come late if you want to sleep longer). Totally enjoyed our stay. Bed was very comfy.

We have stayed here a couple of times previously. Great base to explore the Pyrenees. Beautiful views from our room which had a little balcony. Spotlessly clean & staff were extremely helpful. Dinner very reasonable & good quality produce. Breakfast ok with poor coffee! Some noise from bar next door but not a major issue & have experienced much worse...
