I would have to give serious thought to whether I have ever spent a night in worse hotel by value. Everything you need is here but the worn out rooms leave much to be desired. I feel as they tossed us in a broom closet lest the other guests (none) see us. A saggy bed, flooring in need of both...

This relatively small hotel has been well converted from a monastic retreat and is very comfortably appointed; our premium first floor bedroom was spacious with a good modern shower, TV, small fridge and lovely views over the surrounding countryside. It was accessed by an imposing stone circular staircase and lacked airconditioning, but the massive stone walls and ceiling fan should...

We were most fortunate to eat here twice, once in the beautiful centre indoor terrace and once on the outside terrace with a prime table overlooking stunning views. Food was cooked to perfection with wonderful flavour and imaginative presentation. A long leisurely perfect experience both times, owners have to be commended.

We visited Cordes sur Ciel out of season (December 2015) so almost everything was closed which was unfortunate. Although we had confirmed reservations for two rooms at Hostellerie du Vieux Cordes, they had reserved three rooms for us. Fortunately they cancelled the third room as it was clearly their error. We were the only guests in the hotel on our...

Incredible 13th century village. Hotel staff was friendly, room was nice, views everywhere. The feeling that you have really accomplished something when you arrive in front of the hotel after winding up the hill and through the narrow streets. Parking was free but there are lots of stairs involved, from the parking and in the hotel. Well worth the effort...

Lovely room and had a great meal in the restaurant. Everyone was friendly and there are wonderful views close by. Explore the back lanes and some of the side streets but most of all savour the sense of stepping back in time and imaging life as it once was.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for 2 nights and had a really nice experience as the hotel is right in the middle of the beautiful Cordes Sul Ciel and has free parking. This hotel could be outstanding if they invested some money in renovating the rooms as they are old and not well maintained. The shower is...

We went here based on the recommendation from some locals. Despite going on a very busy day we had a most enjoyable lunch. Great food (the cassoulet was lovely) and a decent service. Also some very beautiful local wines. This all added to a very pleasant experience.

Opted for this because of good reviews, but not a great meal. My steak, though flavoursome was really tough, and although I asked for it medium rare, it came well - done. My husbands cassoulet was poor, with dry meat and not much flavour. The logis sign usually a guarantee of good food so disappointed.

When we arrived we were told the wi-fi was down and had been for over a week - a nightmare when you have to do research. We were told that numerous cafes in the town had wi-fi...this proved not to be true. Someone had been smoking in the room, the smell lingered - when I opened the windows for fresh...
