Stayed here twice, once on way to holiday and then coming back on a coach holiday. Hotel is very tired rooms small but, OK for overnight stay. Breakfast continental with cold meats, cheese etc and great bread, plenty of it. Queues likely if two coaches in. Ok for a night but have stayed in better. First time suffered from noise... More

We stayed in the Hotel Metropole overnight on our way to Austria, as part of a coach party. It is just okay for overnight. I wouldn't want to stay longer. Basic rooms. Just enough room around the bed to get from bathroom to toilet to window. Clean and comfortable bed. But thats about it. Breakfast is continental. Not that nice.... More

Stayed here on the way to and from Tuscany. Suffice to say I wouldn't want to stay any longer. Very basic. Noisy inside and out . Funny smell in the very small bathroom . Shower was broken I had to hold it instead of just standing over it.

Stayed at the metropole July 2015 we arrived at 10pm a coach load of 50 very tired people on our way to Austria . The check in took ages due to the very small size of the lobby, the lift only held 2people and 2 cases ,finally we got to our room 115 it was grubby mould on the ceiling... More

Mixed opinions, the group we were travelling with, Just Go, had very different rooms. We were very lucky and had a good size room with French balcony, air con ,decent size bathroom and a lovely view of the beautiful cathedral like station. The downside was that it was very noisy with the late night revellers who were still arguing outside... More

I'll begin with the nice hearty breakfast included with the room. Freshly baked brioche, croissants, brewed coffee, cereals, cheeses, and sliced meats were served as early as 6:00am. It's centrally located near public transport, shops and a nice walking distance to some tourist sights. I stayed here for one night. My room was facing the main road to the Railway... More

We found this hotel on line while driving through France late at night from Calais. The location is away from the downtown core which made it a nice quiet stay. Arrived after 11pm, the front desk had our room ready at the very end of the hall on the main floor. The room was nicely appointed with modern decor and... More

We stayed at the Metropole for one night on the way to Italy. Lovely little hotel ideal for a stop over. The location was lovely, opposite the train station a beautiful building and near the square, unfortunately we didn't have much time to explore as we arrived late and left early next morning. The room was comfortable and a lovely... More
