If you are looking for a place to stay in the city centre this is the place. Yes it is an older hotel but has lots of character and is super super clean. The beds are comfortable and they have wonderful linens. Our room had shower with the toilet just down the hallway. The staff are outstanding and the ones...

Have just returned from 2 nights in Limoges staying at the Hotel de la Paix which is very central, easy to walk to all attractions and restaurants. The room we had was very simple, warm and clean with everything we needed. The owner and his son were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. This is a no...

How refreshing to stay in a fairly low-budget hotel that still has masses of character and a personal welcome from the owners. The soundproofing isn't great (and there wasn't room to close the door to the toilet once we were sitting on it!) but the room was clean and comfortable and we were very happy with our overnight stay. Nice...

This is the place to stay in Limoges if you like somewhere out of the ordinary. As you'll have read elsewhere, mechanical music is the theme with ancient phonographs etc to marvel at while enjoying breakfast. My room overlooked Place Jourdan but was quiet and peaceful. Staff treat problem solving as part of the job, whether it's finding a restaurant...

Great overnight stop driving back to UK. Loved the hotel, really nice owners and great décor. Rooms were simple, but pleased (as with every hotel I ever stay in) I brought my own pillow! Loos were some bonkers system that made a horrific noise when you flushed and the showers were less than modern but in a world with too...

We stopped one night in this hotel on our drive to the South. The owner is a very pleasant chap and the hotel itself is full of interest and has a comfortable feel to it. It's good value and the old record players and music machines in the breakfast room are worthy in themselves of a visit. The hotel is...

Overlooking a tree lined square and centrally placed, this is a good location for exploring the city. The hotel provides bed and plentiful breakfast (supplement) served in a quirky dining room filled with ancient gramophones and posters from times gone by. Our room was clean and quiet despite its city location and although the building is old (19th century) ensuite...

Mechanical Music is the theme for the owners of Hotel de la Paix. It doesn't play, but there are machines in the breakfast room and corridors. Though for the typical visitor the major advantagea are locatrion, location and....... This hotel is affordable and located in the heart of Limoges. Parking facilities in front of the hotel. It's very basic, but has a great characteristic atmosphere. Rooms are basic, but have all facilities needed. Very friendly personnel. Breakfast is simple, but sufficient.

Great hotel. Staff excellent who helped us with internet access to book our next nights accommodation. Very spacious and well appointed comfortable room but unfortunately no air conditioning. Also no garage parking, parking meter outside on street payable between 09.00 and 18.00 hours, but we only used the hotel for night time and were out all day so no problem!...
