The Nyx Hotel was the perfect overnight stop on our way from Montpelier to the Pyrenees. From the warm welcome and helpful staff, to the clean and comfortable room, and a delicious breakfast of homemade savoury and sweet pastries and breads, we could not have found better.

We were upgraded from the basic room which was very good of them. Room was fine, clean and comfortable as was the bed. We were only here for one night so didn’t have breakfast and all reception staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Location is brilliant for the station and to see Perpignan. Would recommend.

Rooms are compact but well appointed. Staff are friendly. Cocktails are good. Very central location on the canal in Dublin, easily accessible by LUAS. There is no functioning TV service in any of the rooms which was a huge missing for me. Reception staff did not forewarn me about this when I registered upon arrival. Not impressed to say the least about it. Hotel has been open a few weeks and it should be working as of day one.

Dear guest, It seems that you put a comment on the wrong hotel profile...... our hotel is called "Nyx Hotel" but it is not located in Dublin... We are in the South of France in Perpignan (city name) Anyway, you are welcome! Best regards Marielle

Comfortable, well managed, modern boutique hotel with super breakfasts (some of it home-baked). The hotel is on a main road, well located for the station or centre ville (ten minutes each way) but rooms at the back would probably be preferable. We had a double (kingsize bed) with balcony on the first floor. Audrey was helpful and welcoming. The historic centre (mostly pedestrianised) and canal are worth a visit but some of the roads are busy and diesel-smelly (and we're from London :).

Delightful little place - rooms are small but clean and everything works. Homemade cakes, pancakes and quiches at breakfast were delicious. owners are helpful and friendly - we tried out almost all of their restaurant recommendations which were great. Ideal location between the station and town centre. We had a fabulous day trip to Collioure and had gorgeous food.

The hotel is in a great only about 3 minute walk from the station which made it ideal for us as we travelled to different resorts each day. The couple that own the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. They provided us with a map with main attractions and also recommendations for places to eat. Rooms were as described, I am glad we went for the option with the balcony it give that extra sense of space. All in all a great stay. We visited Colliure, Carcassonne and Argles Sur Mer in our 4 day break. There is so many places you can explore from Perpignan by rail and it was uncomplicated.

A great hotel to stay in when visiting Perpignan. It is very close to the train station, and the shopping area in Perpignan. There are rooms with balconies which I did not avail of but should have. Check in is very easy too. Would recommend this small boutique hotel to one and all.

Comfortable, clean, great central location (betwixt station and city attractions). Very friendly and helpful staff - always keen to help. Also, good value. My room was small but perfectly formed - and there was plenty of hot water! Recommended.

Stylish hotel near the Old town. Our room was very comfortable, and the host, Corinne, upgraded us at no cost. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom sparklingly clean. Breakfast was good, with homemade savouries and cakes, as well as cheeses, bread, hams etc. We had an enjoyable stay

If you like cold showers, this is the hotel for you! When I went to take a shower this morning, there was no hot water to be had. Something was working, because when I turned the knob all the way to as “hot” as it went, it was vaguely warmer than when it was turned all the way to cold. But I mean very vaguely. The wifi is next to non-existent. It took minutes to load a single web page, and even then not everything loaded. Finally, there is some – I’ll call it bubble, for lack of a better word – looking tile on the wall/shelf behind the sink and in one wall of the shower. It was absolutely filthy, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Everything else seemed clean, but this was pretty off-putting. I won’t blame the hotel for the street noise, but I will note that there were several incidents of loud noise from outside during the night that made it difficult to sleep well. I told these things to the person at the front desk when checking out and didn’t even get an apology. Her response was “have a nice day.” It would have been a lot better if I’d have been able to take a hot shower!…
