Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Empire hotel for one night. The staff were lovely, the location was spot on and the bed and the bedroom were elegant and comfortable. There was lots to do near the hotel, what a beautiful location.

We booked into the Empire on our way down to Spain. Unfortunately for the hotel there was a lot of road works going on and it didn't present itself in the best light. Reception was good with an irish gent working behind the counter who got us booked in and explained the parking. Room was ok a bit basic but...

The room was tidy and well maintained daily. I was particularly happy with staff who were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast had a great amount of choice and it was tasty- no 'spam ham' here. I'd definitely recommend this hotel, centrally located and well presented.... I'll be back here when I next come to Nimes!

This hotel was booked via booking.com which to my mind seems t have overly flattering scores. Firstly, Nimes is undergoing extensive civic refurbishment and so it is hard to see what the potential of the area might be. The hotel is at the top of what will be a large wide street by an impressive church BUT it is in...

Well located near to the old town . For the money the room was below average , the window didn't shut properly , a hole in the curtain and blotchy stains on the wall . The newly refurbished bathroom was fine . Air con quiet and effective. The parking facility was a fiasco , the handyman was asked to move...

We spent 2 nights last weekend with two young ones. The place is very good and the rooms are quite good. We had a problem with the air conditioner but they changed our room without any problem. The only thing is that in the new room the air was not as powerful as it has to be. The breakfast was...

We've stayed here before and were always well looked after with the hotel being walking distance from many great restaurants, but it's true it was a little outdated in a charming way. Now there's a new owner, the hotel is under renovation, new beds, new bathrooms, fresh coat of paint and a warm welcome, so we have to recommend the...

The hotel was a last minute option as we were driving through on our way to Italy. Upon arrival the reception was nice, she poke English well and that was a relief as the last two places we called didnt. She told us there was a room available and it was normally 75euros but that she would give it to...

We were looking for something central and this hotel is within a short walking distance to all the things we wanted to see! As previously stated by others the hotel is pretty run down and basic and the staff could have been a little friendlier but if you are looking for somewhere to sleep only and not spend your days,...
