The term 'guest house' does not really give good enough description of the stunning classic french house, with original features and the way it has been modernised in all the right places. The gates house is right in the heart the city so perfect for getting around on foot. Large and very comfortable, modern rooms, with beautiful shared areas just...

Make sure the previous guest reviews are noted: you must have a map because it's difficult to find, we couldn't gain access until after 4pm, the entrance door is "disguised" and doesn't look a likely place for an upmarket residence, most taxis can't get anywhere near the place, but some can (the receptionist can book one but it costs Eu10...

This was our second visit to Baudon de Mauny and every bit as good as the first. It is not often, when on a city break holiday, that the hotel actually becomes part of the holiday experience instead of just being somewhere to sleep and keep the luggage. It has been said in other reviews that staying here is rather...

If you have a lot of luggage it is a challenge to get to this hotel because you can not get there by car, furthermore the hotel is difficult to find. Lots of closed of streets in this city, make sure you get the instructions to the closest parking garage. We had a junior suite, but it was nothing more...

Dear Rosan, Many thanks for your feed back, you're right we are in the pedestrian historical center so only taxi or cars with private driver can get to Baudon's front door. We are truely sorry you did not appreciate your junior suite which is a room of more than 40sqm. The renovation process was made by architect and interior design...

After having a fair amount of difficulty getting into Montpellier with our hire car, we finally arrived at our outstanding accommodation This b&b is set in a 18th century townhouse and had been newly renovated to exacting detail. It is well situated to the sights ,main streets and dining areas of Montpellier We upgraded to a junior suite, which was...

Very nice boutique hotel in a great location. Had a hard time getting to the hotel since our navigator sent us thru pedestrian streets. Once we found our way around, convenient parking 2 minutes from the hotel (20€ night). Welcome was very good, receptionist very helpful with good recommendations on what to do. Room a bit too modern and cold...

Dear Tintin, Many thanks for your very positive feed back regarding Baudon boutique hôtel and its staff. Regarding the rooms, you're right it's more about innovation rather than renovation. We wish to see you back quickly to show you another room, as they are all different, probably more in your taste! Kind regards

We were only going to stay one night and extended for a second. The hotel is beautiful. Combining the best of the old world charm of the original structure and blending it with modern pieces and design elements so elegantly that you feel a real sense of place, modern France at its best. The bedrooms are lovely, have all the...

I have just been reading some of the other reviews of this hotel and I think they have all said it better than I could! This hotel is astonishing....low key, extremely stylish, surprises at every turn. We were in the Papillion room with our daughter and it was so comfortable. The only bad part was that we could only stay...

I was blown away by this hotel. It's design is unique, sophisticated and extremely comfortable. I was lucky enough to speak to the owners to learn more about this extraordinary "hotel particular" that was converted into a hotel. Every detail was thought out. As detail oriented as any 5 star luxury hotel. I can't recommend it enough. The welcome was...

When you enter the building at first you might feel like you are wrong. But ones you take the stairs up you will be welcomed by classic style, art and modern elements. It has really surprised us. It is really really hard to keep all the characteristics of a building like this one and still give it a modern twist....
