Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a birthday celebration. Basic amenities but room was clean with a novel London style theme on the furnishings. Shower attachment was broken which meant holding the shower head whilst showering but not too much of a hassle. I wouldn't recommend paying extra for the breakfast as it's not worth the money. Hotel...

Stayed here with my wife for 1 night in December 2016. The hotel is clean, the rooms are smallish but all french hotel rooms seem to be, and it is well located about a 10/15 minute walk from the medieval city and the canal du midi. Breakfast was cheap and plentiful, buffet style, 6 euro's each. Parking is not included...

We stayed there just for 1 night in May 2016. It's a comfortable place, very clean and close to both the train station and historical centre. The lady at the desk is really wonderful, she was very helpful and gave us precious tips. If we ever return to Carcassonne, we'll surely stay there again.

Great location for medieval city, railway station, shops and restaurants. Very good value for money. Airport circular bus stops at the train station which is a 5 minute walk away. Hotel is very 'French' with clean small rooms and a very tiny functional shower room. Although the hotel is on the main road our room was at the back and...

Stayed at the Au Royal with my husband last week for a short city break. Was a bit apprehensive having read the reviews before we left but given the good value the hotel was very adequate for our needs. Although old, our room was big and clean. Only downside was road noise at night as its situated on the main...

The location was great, the staff was kind. Good hot water and water pressure. But the room I was in was hot and facing the street so I did not get much sleep given that the lack of AC meant I had to keep the window open and it was loud. The bed was ok. But it was a quick...

After reading many of the previous reviews my boyfriend and I were a little worried. However on arrival we were greeted and given a very informative welcome including a map and full descriptions of the distance to find points of interest. Our room had been given an uplift with paint and new bed sheets and flooring. We did not try...

Centrally located for Carcassonne centre and La Cite. Very nice owner (/manager?) and excellent friendly service. She let us keep our bikes safe in her garage parking. Very good value. Good breakfast. Basic room but well ventilated and good ceiling fan for the heat of the city in August.

Good location - Easy walk into the lower town and to the station/Canal du Midi. Room very small with siding partition to shower and toilet (also small) Shower worked fine. Towels and bed linen were clean but room looked shabby. Reception manned during day. Breakfast was fine - Drinks from machine Had meal at restaurant next door - Very good....
