Interesting refurbished and converted building The most comfortable bed of the trip with a convenient plug for chargers both sides. Not a particularly large room but nice clean new bathroom. An internal courtyard immediately outside makes up for lack of seating area. We were there in mid October and the east facing breakfast terrace was easily warm enough to eat...

The thumbnail photo for this property is entirely accurate - the little roof terrace looks straight across a park and the Aude to the battlements of Carcassonne Cite. Lovely! Patrick is an excellent host, going out of his way to advise guests on places to eat and to visit. In a tourist city (hence some over-priced hotels), his Guesthouse offers...

We stayed here for only two nights, but wish we had stayed longer. Patrick is a very charming and helpful host and his guesthouse is very lovely. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, a very good size, and the bathroom was big with a wonderful shower. Breakfast is taken on the balcony overlooking the castle/citadel and is delicious, all...

Whether one simply wants a single night's accommodation or you are wanting a base from which to explore the region (as we did), the Carcassonne Guesthouse would be an excellent choice. The view of the old City is superb but the key is that it is easily accessible on foot as is the main town below. Both are roughly a...

Four of us stayed here, lovely old traditional French house, big rooms, lovely comfy beds, slept like a log all three nights, free WiFi also, breakfast is served on the balcony to the front, Patrick does fresh fruit/yoghurt/granola to start, then lovely French bread, jams and soft cheeses, unlimited tea and coffee and a glass of orange juice, only thing...

Stayed here for 2 nights last year with my family and were very well looked after by Patrick! The rooms were bright and airy, they were good sizes, private bathrooms, a lovely balcony with a stunning view of the castle and good breakfast in the morning... All at a reasonable price! The B&B is situated outside the castle walls and...

We really enjoyed our stay with Patrick at the Carcassonne Guesthouse. I highly recommend this quiet, clean, excellently-priced bed and breakfast. Breakfast on the open terrace, with a sumptuous view of the old fortress city, is a marvelous way to start your explorations. You'll be surprised at how quiet and out-of-the-way the Carcassonne Guesthouse feels yet convenient to all the...

Perfect location between old and new town. View from terrace was lovely. Room was perfect and immaculately clean. Bed really lovely: best we had ever slept in, in any hotels or guest houses. Air conditioning, TV, hair dryer, shower excellent, scottish shampoo and body wash including daily cleaning of room and fresh towels as required. We also had a patio...

Recently returned from a splendid two night stay at Carcassonne Guesthouse. A beautiful, imaginatively converted French house. Immaculately clean and stylish rooms complete with fast Wifi and aircon. Patrick, the owner, is a very gracious host and the view of the walled city from the terrace is one I shall remember for a very long time. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had a wonderful weekend in Carcassonne. Patrick was very helpful with advice and recommendations for restaurants. Room was lovely, more than enough space and very well presented. Tasty breakfast (included) on the terrace, with an unbeatable view out onto the castle. Could not recommend more.
