Beautiful, clean, modern hotel with a great swimming pool. Close to and with a nice view of Carcassone. The only drawback for me was the breakfast buffet. It looked like it could have been great but everything was depleted about midway through the service hours. Tons of dirty tables, and nowhere clean to sit. The three or four service staff...

Stayed here to visit the Cite at Carcassonne and it was a brilliant choice, Hotel room was fab prestige room with decking down onto the pool and espresso coffee machine. Lovely big bathroom and nice sofa bed for girls. The road to the cite is very close and we walked there 3 times in the 24 hrs we were there....

Nice room and comfortable beds. Free wi-fi. Secure parking. Good location near the old city. Ate at their restaurant. Sunday night, near end of September. Restaurant full and just two young girls trying but failing to serve everyone, including apparently room service. They worked really hard but this place is seriously understaffed. Despicable corporate greed by Mercure. They don't deserve...

Try to secure a room looking towards the old walled city. Some also overlook the swimming pool with the walled city in the distance. The rooms were simple buy clean and well-maintained. Bed linens and duvets were opulent. I'd stay here again.

As other reviewers have mentioned - the hotel is really close to the Cite. In addition, it is also close to the airport shuttle pick up point, which is very convenient, since shuttles go to the airport just in time for your flight and cost 5 eur vs 20 eur cab fare. I ended up arriving and staying alone in...

The room and the breakfast are excellent. Everything looks really new. the location is the best: 5 minutes from the castle. They offer a free safe and the staff was lovely. Not to mention the spacious parking lot. Outstanding.

But we prefer IBIS. The heat was on, and the A/C was not able to cool the room enough. Furthermore, I agree with another guest who noted that these hotels that use trendy duvet covers on comforters add a lovely touch to the decor. But it is impractical because with the cover, it's too hot. When the room finally cools...

Just came back from a long weekend to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. I did order a cake to be available which never arrived. Nice hotel very close to the walled city. Reasonably priced for food although we felt that the cost of drink, , is extremely expensive. The hotel do a good set menu but you will have to...

A GREAT CHOICE! I could not get a room inside the Cite so booked this hotel and was very pleased. I had a quiet night's sleep in the very comfortable rooms. Restaurant was very good, desk service good (no bellman) and extremely well located next to the Cite with easy parking. Being out of the Cite was nice because it...
