Villa Mazarin is a very well maintained historic building in the center of the historic town. The room was large and the personnel very friendly. The pool aside the courtyard is relaxing. We really enjoyed the stay.

We were so happy to return to this wonderful hotel! Check-in was professionally handled by Fabien, who was very warm and welcoming, and he remembered us from our previous stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. As always, the Villa Mazarin is superbly located, and provides a great introduction to the exquisite city of Aigues-Mortes. We will be back!

We have stayed for many years at Villa Mazarin. The hotel is a beautiful and peaceful building in a quiet area of the village, yet within a few minutes' walk from the village center. It is a four star hotel offering all the amenities that would be expected from a hotel of that standard. The courtyard of the hotel is...

The Mazarin is a great blend of old and new. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the building is an ancient palace adapted to modern tastes with pool, jacuzzi etc. I don't mind paying a little extra for this classic type of experience when traveling.

We were visiting this delightful walled medieval town (Aigues-Mortes) to photograph the Camargue Wild Horses and local bird life. Villa Mazarin was simply beautiful, with stunning grounds and a luxurious room. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast spread (put on especially early for us to go out and catch the early light for photography) was sumptuous! We only...

Beautiful hotel within the walled city of Aigues Mortes which is a lovely place to stay for a day or two. We originally booked for one night but as the hotel was so nice we stayed for two. Huge beds, great pillows, enormous rooms and bathrooms and all the facilities you could need. The only negative for us was the...

The Hotel is in inside the walls of old city. We received a warm welcome. Beautiful spacious bedroom and bathroom with lovely bed linen and large towels. Excellent value. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. I look forward to staying here again.

Stayed 4 nights at the Villa Mazarin whilst photographing the wild white horses in the Camargue region of France. The hotel has a beautiful inner courtyard with trees and grass, an indoor swimming pool, and a lovely restaurant area. Breakfasts were extensive in choice and delicious. My room was on the 2nd (3rd for North Americans!) floor and I found...

Nicely located within the city walls but just away enough from the main square and busy shopping area as to be nice and quiet. Tranquil and elegant with a lovely indoor pool. Lovely patio area to sunbathe. Staff extremely polite and helpful. Rooms are spacious and the showers superb. Couldn't really ask for any more. We didn't eat there as...

We arrived midday to be greeted by a rather awkward American David. Conversation did not flow and it felt chilly. the building and gardens are gorgeous, BUT the decor is really poor. Example, plastic flowers everywhere (some looked good) the sofas , mirrors and furniture faux bad copies of what should be antiques. It felt tacky. The rooms were full...
