Paris-Oasis was truly an Oasis for us. The Lucie Loft was beautiful, clean, light (I think four sky lights that you could cover at night) and perfect for our family of 5. The bathroom was larger then I expected and the shower was very large. Our children really enjoyed having the small indoor pool available each night to play in....

We were looking for a self-catering apartment in Paris for our family of 5, and went on the great reviews here. Helene and Jean Lois are fantastic hosts, they welcomed us with a glass of champagne afgter quite a long journey, and the kids were straight in the pool. We stayed in Lucie loft, and the apartment is spotless, safe...

Paris Oasis was located in a beautiful and charming part of Paris (Montmartre) and is very quiet and private. Access to transportation was easy and only about a 5 minutes walk. Also - VERY close to Sacre Coeur with a lovely view of the city. Rooms were clean and lovely and the pool was great. The owners are very sweet...

I cannot say enough good things about Paris Oasis and our hosts. Everything was spectacular! The location in the heart of Montmartre is spectacular and surprisingly quiet. The hotel is more like a B&B and the hosts more like your extended family (they will help you with everything, including laundry, directions, routine shopping, etc.). All of the other finer points...

I can only add to the glowing reviews I have read here. I was absolutely charmed by the house and thoroughly impressed with the meticulously appointed apartment. If that wasn't enough, the Bignons are such gracious hosts that I felt as though we were visiting family. Helene showed us how to navigate the metro stops and routes and asked about...

We walked here from the Gare de L'Est using Helene's precise emailed directions & found a charming host & a beautiful secluded room with an outdoor courtyard. Helene gave us maps & restaurant recommendations. In every instance Helene provided exemplary service & assistance, going above & beyond excellent. I can illustrate with a couple of examples: We asked about clothes...

We have just spent two weeks in Paris and, though we love the city, it is our accommodations that we most want to rave about. Believe all the good things that have already been said. They are true! The B&B is even better than advertised, as are the hosts, Helene and Jean-Louis. We stayed in Lucie Loft with our three...

We Stayed for 5 nights in the Lucie Loft! Helene and Jean-Louis were the best hosts anyone could ask for. The Sacre Coeur is right down the street. Supermarkets, restaurants and Patisserie very close by. Our baggage was delayed 1 day by Air France and Helene made sure we had some toiletries to hold us over. Free Wi-Fi and Huge...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
