We stayed at Hotel Lumen in the Japanese district of Paris, France from Monday March 27th – Sunday April 2nd, 2017. When we checked in we found out that last week was the end of winter and it was a little bit warmer in the upper mid 70’s to high 60 degrees. The hotel staff spoke French and some English....

One or two of the staff were friendly but most were just there. Facilities, location is the only thing going for this hotel. The restaurant was closed due to renovations as well as the fitness suite (gym). We really struggled to see why this hotel was billed as 4 Stars. Not even tea/coffee in room, but did have a mini...

An small hotel without lobby and very average equipment and the noise of the street bother your sleep. The rooms was also small but clean and the bath quality was average. Breakfast was also average. I think the branch hotels are in more value in comparison.

i always stay at lumen when i am in paris for work and am normally very happy. this time, the closure of the bar area meant breakfast was served in the gym which was small and rather unpleasant. There was also no hot breakfast apart from the first day of my stay... not sure why but i do normally enjoy...

Fantastic location for exploring Paris on foot and it is very close to the louvre and musee d'orsay. The rooms are small but that is Paris for you. The hotel needs a new fit out but all in all great value and location for Paris.

This is a great boutique hotel 5 minutes from the Louvres and 10 minutes from Chatelet Les Halles. I was upgraded to the Zen Suite, which has its own Jacuzzi in the bedroom - would have been fantastic for a romantic getaway, however I was on a boring old business trip, so it didn't make much sense. Very good bed,...

I stayed at the Hotel Lumen for two nights over a weekend and found the hotel to be ideal for my needs. The location was perfect for touring central Paris either on foot or using the Metro with stations a few minutes walk away. The Louvre is literally at the end of the road. The hotel is housed in an...

This location is perfect and the service was amazing. After a long and stressful day of travel, the staff here was so helpful and pleasant when I finally arrived. Don't miss the breakfast-- it was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day. I would recommend this place to friends. A great experience for my first trip to...
