We couldn't believe our luck in finding Le Loft and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at midnight after a long trip from Mid Wales. We were in Paris to see my husband and son complete the London to Paris cycle ride for Alzheimers UK. Despite the area around the apartment being very busy we were surprised how quiet it was...

Myself & my partner stayed here with 3 teenagers. It is a great space in an excellent location. Separate sleeping quarters were great. Convenient to a supermarket, metro and shops. We had a little trouble with our shower drainage, and Francios was prompt to fix. The apartments are very comfortable, with books and CD's available for use. The kitchen was...

Loft Paris. Next door to the Moulin Rouge, just tucked away from the noise. It was clean, private, quiet, comfortable and a GREAT deal! Wow. I visited with my husband and my sister and we stayed in the Suite. It was gorgeous! There was a gigantic king size bed for myself and my husband and a single sofa/bed for my...

Took my wife to Paris for our 2nd anniversary, this accommodation defiantly defined our stay in Paris. Great location, right behind the Moulin Rouge. Clean and spacious and the owner Francois, a very friendly guy. With two showers, 2 eating areas, a large living room and an area outside in the courtyard to chill. We stayed in the duplex apartment,...

No wonder this place is in high demand! Four awesome fully-equipped apartments right in the middle of Montmartre: excellently decorated with great kitchens and bathrooms and all that you could need during your stay, including an excellent music collection. Have stayed here twice and it would definitely be my first choice for my return visit. Francois (the owner) is a...

Really well furnished and thought out - we spent 3 nights in the Suite. It was great to have so much space at our disposal, particularly in a city where this is usually at a premium. Great location too - right by the Blanche metro stop but also easy walking distance to the lively bars and restaurants of Montmartre. Only...

We stayed in the Duplex for 3 days between Christmas and New Year - 2 couples and 3 children ( 10-16) plus 2 additional guests for one of the nights. Francoise and his team could not have been more helpful or efficient - from the on-line enquiry and booking through to helping us hail a taxi the day we left,...

I wanted to take my mum away for Christmas and thanks to the positive reviews on Tripadvisor I chose the Suite at Loft Paris. It was the best choice I could have made and I intend to go back, hopefully soon! Brilliantly clean and heated, it's a home-to-home in Montmartre, it's easy to find, near metro stations, bus stops (a...

We sayted at the Studio at the Loft. The location is great, within 100 meters of the metro and bus stations. It is a 20-30 min ride to the city center. The departmental store is right in front where you can pick up daily groceries. Coming to the apartment itself, it is spacious, you get a sofa, a dining table,...

We stayed in the duplex, a lovely rustic french apartment perfectly situated to see Paris. Very spacious with a lovely oudoor patio. Up a little cobbled alleyway, next door to the Moulin Rouge and within easy walking distance of lots of nice cafes and shops. Easy access to the metro and buses to get around the city. We will definitely...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“Only saw our ground floor apartment which was quiet but backs onto a small courtyard which could be noisy in the summer. However, you do not come to this area of Paris and expect it to be quiet. I imagine, the other apartments had better views.”
