I booked a room to share with a friend, beds were clean & confortable. Even if toilet & shower aren't in the bedroom, it's cheaper than a youth hostel and cleaner for sure! It was a good option for Paris.

Picard is toward the northern end of one of Paris's most vibrant districts, the Marais. Many wonderful little restaurants, bars and brasseries. The hotel is classed as two star I guess largely because the rooms are not en suite but you get good value for money as a result. Try Rue du Fauburg du Temple near place de la Republique...

We have stayed at hotel Picard on numerous occasions and always return . We always email them directly and have never had issues with our basic accommodation . We book a room with an ensuite facing the street. We love the area and this hotel is so economical that is allows us to sleep in a comfortable bed in a...

I would strongly recommend people to confirm directly prior to arrival. When we get there I was so surprise that reception did not even know my name. I booked online thru Hotels.com and I have no idea what went wrong with their system. I just got lucky they have 1 spare room for the night. I don't think I got...

Hotel Picard is a small, friendly, family-run hotel on a quiet, lovely street in the Marais. Great location! Its cozy, clean and comfortable rooms offer a particularly good value. Elevator and wifi are included and a good breakfast is offered for a small additional fee. Best of all, the owners and staff are wonderfully helpful and accommodating and make it...

Well the hotel was hard to find down a side street, but got there eventually. Not sure what I expected from 2 star but I guess a working internet (as offered) It did not stipulate that you had to be sat downstairs !! With a little effort the hotel could be good but alas I would not recommend it to...

I stayed in hotel for 4 nights. Charlie the owner is very friendly so as most of the staff apart from a Bald guy at reception is awful rude. They have basic rooms not too expensive but no proper heating and wifi. Good for a night stay also if stating family then try something decent.

I made a reservation in the Picard Hotel 26 rue de picardie PARIS. It is mentionned in the web site link on you site that all rooms have toilet and a tv. In fact all room have no toilet and no TV. I would never made a reservation to such hotel if I know. The receptionist had told me that...

Excellent position by Republique, but certainly bare-bones: no television for instance, but if you're like me and leave at 7am and come back at 11pm you won't have a problem. I found the showers rather odd: they said they needed a token for water but they seemed to work anyway. They lent me a travel plug adaptor when I'd forgotten...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
