Tiny rooms, but the location is incredible. A very European experience. A bustling noisy street with all kinds of different people to watch. Very short walk to the metro. More like something out of the 50's. For me, it made the time in Paris feel like I was right in the heart of the city.

This hotel is in a very good location near to the metro and train station also very close to Notre-Dame, louvre and Latin Quarter. Hotel rooms are small basic but clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available a basic buffet style for ten euros. The bad points are it is extremely noisy right in the party area noise...

I stayed in this hotel with my sister for a couple of days. Really cheap given its location. However, there are some serious cons to consider: in the first place the street is full of bars and is extremely noisy - I literally couldn't sleep as the shouting and music kept me awake up to 3am. Secondly, if you are...

Stayed here from 20151209-20151212. Very clean, convenient hotel with excellent service. Breakfast at adjoining restaurant for EU 10 per person. Close to Notre Dame and Seine. Busy nightlife in the area but windows are soundproof. Would definitely stay here again.

Single rooms small, clean, fresh towels daily. Shower hot and strong. Even though the hotel is in a busy area our rooms were quiet. Very handy for travel. Near Notre Dame. Coffee shops, restaurants and bars seconds away. Patisserie opposite. Staff very helpful. Lots of info in foyer and pc access.

Didn't expect much and and because of that I wasn't disappointed much! Location is great, bang in the centre of the Latin Quarter but our room was also right opposite the Bulls brothers pub! Convenient for a night out but not so for an early night! Terrible beds with no headboards, and the hotel doesn't own an iron, when i...

Fab location for this hotel. Only to be let down by possibly the most miserable staff I have ever seen. Got shouted at when we went for breakfast. Only asked if we could sit anywhere!! Cheer up people!

Location, location, location. One block from the subway, two blocks from Notre Dame. Despite its spacious rooms - which is plus in Paris, some things where somewhat disappointing during my stay. The pillows and bath towels were beyond overused. Asked for an extra pillow for three nights in a row, and the answer I got from the reception desk was...

I booked this hotel for a cheap stay centrally located in Paris. And that's about the good I had to say about it. It was cheap and central. Now; this isn't as much a hotel room with ensuite bathroom as it is a bathroom with a bed in it. The toilet and shower is right there in the room. No...

Hotel du Mont Blanch is a nice place to stay. Extremely close to major sites and things to do / see. Management was wonderful to work with. Room was very tidy and clean as were all parts of the hotel. We would recommend this hotel.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
