Boutiquey hotel near everything. Small rooms but functional. Breakfast included. Great rates. Great front desk. We enjoyed our stay. Single room was VERY close. But what do you expect in Paris. Subway around the corner. Uber is viable. Nice Flemish restaurant right across the street and a lot more around every corner. Shop til you drop ladies around the corner...

I recently visited Paris and had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Andrea. The location is fantastic with everything you could want in walking distance, The Louvre, Notre dame Cathedral, the Latin Quarter, St Chapelle and of course... shopping!!! I loved the hustle and bustle of this area. Stay here if you don't mind a bit of noise. Rooms are...

This hotel is a real gem in the center of Paris. It is located 20 steps from the Rue de Rivoli, all shopping is in walking distance, centre Pompidou, le Marais, Louvre, Hotel de Ville, St Michel, Notre Dame, you name it is in walking distance. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, the hotel is quite small and intimate. It...

I stayed in a cheap, basic, but well laid out single room for solo traveller in a good location, close to the Pompidou and the river. I got the room at a reasonable price fairly late on during November, and it met my needs for somewhere to crash out after working before exploring the local area. The room had a...

The room in the picture was our room. The photo is from the hall. What you can not tell is that their was LESS than 3 ft. on either side of the bed and 4 ft. in front of the bed. Our 2 pieces of luggage were balanced on a small triangular desk and on a makeshift surface using a...

This hotel offers great value in a great location. It was perfect for our 3 night stay in Paris. The rooms are small, but it seems like that's pretty standard in Paris. You don't come to Paris to sit in your hotel room, right? They were clean and quiet. The bed was a little stiff, but not the worst I've...

Bed was comfortable, bathroom (especially the shower) was great and courtyard room was quiet. TV had 3 English language channels so I could keep up with news and weather. Location was superior, between Les Halles and Marais and just off Rue D'Rivoli. Many buses and the Metro nearby. Lots of restaurants and small groceries nearby. I will definitely consider this...

Hotel staffed 24 hours and was very accommodating in holding our bags when we arrived early. Yes rooms are small but as expected in Paris. Clean modern bathroom. We had an inside room with the window that faced the elevator shaft. No big deal as it was quiet and spent little time in the room. Great location and easy metro...

Our room was on the top floor with a small balcony (very French), light & bright small room but adequate as we were out all day, small but adequate bathroom with a large shower & very clean. The only down side was the tiny lift that didn't fit both of us & our luggage so needed to go one at...

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
