My family recently just got back from staying in the presidential suite having to upgrade from a standard room. We were hoping to have another nice staying after being impressed by Hyatt London. This hotel do not deserve to carry a 4 star / hyatt regency at all. The suite that we stayed were so old that i wanted to...

This place looks typical 80's decor.. Decent large lobby and next to a mall but that is it. No frills, old rooms, old paint, lots of dirt on the walls and nothing special except for the price. This place is in a good location, not too far from CDG and 6-9 stops away from the center of Paris. The metro...

This is an old property which was recently taken over by the Hyatt so it still carries the vestiges of the previous operator such as the outdated "modern" décor and tired rooms. The lobby itself is not too bad but, judging by the décor, you could be anywhere on earth except Paris, the City of Lights. Hyatt has to work...

No iron in the room! I expect this at a cheap place like Holiday Inn Express but at a hotel with aspirations to be "top class"? Ridiculous to expect guests to go to an "ironing room". Personally, I believe this is to force people to pay for laundry/pressing in the hotel as one of the last remaining extract-money-from-the-guests-pockets options available,...

One of the great mysteries of European business travel: how do Europeans business travelers maintain their keen sense of style and fashion, given the dire shortage of irons in European hotels? The Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile is one of those hotels where not only will you not find an iron and ironing board in your room, but they will also...

I had made the booking when it was still La Fayette but then prior our trip, I found out it was bought by Hyatt and this naturally raised my expectations a little. Wrong. The hotel is a big one 950 rooms I think, yet if you turn up...

The hotel is a landmark in Paris, as the building is 137 m tall and consists of 34 floors. Totally, there are 950 rooms. It is until now known (for many years) as the “Hotel Concorde La Fayette”, but it is recently re-named to the “Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile” It is directly connected to the “Palais des Congrès” (congress centre)...
