The hotel is not super fancy inside and does not have any sport facilities, but it is walking distance from Notre Dame, pompadour centre and not far away from Le louvre. Perfect location for a weekend. the metro stop is on the other side of the road and the area is full of bars and restaurants if you would like...

We had a pleasant stay at this boutique hotel. There are lots of cafes to eat at nearby...and great shopping steps from the hotel. Easy to get around the area and taxis close by. Close Walk to the Metro underground subway. There is no swimming pool or fitness room and none close by either. Lots of smokers here--no anti-smoking bylaws....

Nice hotel in Marais. Metro is just behind the corner. Lots of brasseries and restaurants nearby. Goog place to stay for shopping and enjoying city life of Paris. Hotelroom was clean. Only minus was non-working fridge (minibar).

While the price of the hotel can be a but pricey compared to some, it's well worth it I stayed at another hotel in le marais right before this one, and couldn't be more pleased. As many know, the rooms in Europe are the sizes of large closets. Villa Mazarin was spacious, clean and in the center of an amazing...

We spent a weekend in Paris and chose almost by chance this small and cosy boutique hotel in the very centre of the city. Its location is super convenient, in the heart of the dynamic Marais, and very close to the tube station. Just its location deserves 5 out of 5! Talking about rooms and facilities: rooms are not too...

We've been staying here every year for the past 5 years and it's been excellent. Sadly, it's starting to look a bit tatty and ready for renovation, and the manager informed us it will close for renovations at the end of July for a year! It will re-open as the Villa Marazin but it will be a more expensive and...

We visited this hotel quite by chance and what a find. It is an old palace and is a truly wonderful place to stay. Although, it is priced it is well worth the money. The bedrooms are huge and we particularly liked the ones in the new block as we prefer a shower and these were great ones. The food...

We had a second floor king bed room with mini-fridge, good-sized bathroom, table area for our laptop, and good wi-fi! The breakfasts were fabulous--generous and delicious. You could customize them if you wanted (we ordered scrambled eggs one morning). The staff is accommodating and our room was immaculate. And despite being on a busy street with popular cafes, it was...

Okay, so I might be repeating myself from previous reviews here folks, but you know that old saying about "when in Rome"? We are currently on our last full day in this wonderful hotel and have only positives to report. We had a prestige room on the 5th floor which has a separate seating area and a wonderful bathroom/wet room...

The location was great but the hotel was in dire need of some upkeep. The A/C in the room smelled stale and failed to cool down the room, dust bunnies were roaming edges of the carpeted floor. It might have been a quaint and stylish some years ago, but it seems neglect had took its toll.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
