FIrstly, the location is AMAZING. It is very close to the Eurostar station (Gare du Nord) - we walked to the hotel with our bags and it was a nice walk! Very close to Galleries Lafayette as well! Second - the staff are SO nice! I got sick while we were in Paris and each and every one of the...

Lovely cozy room, very clean but on the verge of too small. Comfy bed and great shower. Wifi good in all hotel. Not enough room in wardrobe. Staff are great, very friendly and recommended some nice restaurants. No English tv (or Spanish!). Quiet hotel and location is handy as surrounded by bars/restaurants and shops

The hotel rooms were abnormally small an ant or a field mouse would struggle to make use of the cupboards...although I overheard a hobbit at reception complaining he couldnt fit his ring ring the cupboard. ..half meter wide in 2 meter tall wardrobe is your maximum storage space..for 2 people staying 3 nights on a honeymoon this is beyond unacceptable....

We booked the room way before and than happens that once we arrived in the hotel directly from the airport we find out our reservation was cancelled... not from us of course but from the company we booked the Hotel ( Hoteling)! It took a while to understand the reason as the money obviously were taken by the credit card...

Only 15 minutes walk to Gare Du Nord, and 15 minutes walk to major shops like Galleries Lafayette Hausmann, and a 3 minutes walk to Cadet Metro. The staff were really nice and allowed us to check in early as they had rooms available. We did not try the breakfast but the choices looked limited.

Stayed here the first week of May, and from booking it in February I was excited. It's safe to say the hotel lived up to and exceeded expectations! From check in it was amazing. We arrived early due to our early flight so we had a drink in reception and our keys were brought to us within ten minutes! Transport...

I recently booked this hotel due to the fantastic reviews it got. On arrival the staff were friendly and pleasant and check in was smooth and painless, the room was clean and comfortable but was small and dark. The room seemed to lack storage and after my husband had hung his shirts up there wasn't really anywhere else to put...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share this review on your recent stay Les Plumes Hotel. It is with particular attention that I read your comments on the breakfast. As you said there are a lot of choices and I am really sorry you didn’t have appreciated our scramble eggs homemade and our pancakes. Your...

This hotel is perfection. We stayed here for one night only, much to our dismay. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel brought us a plate of macarons and upgraded our room. Each room is uniquely decorated. The rooms are spacious and clean. They also supply you with a smart phone to use while in Paris, from which you...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

“We stayed on the 4th floor looking over the main entrance. Hotel sits on a side street with a regular flow of traffic but with the windows closed it was not a problem. We were able to keep the windows open most of the night and only close them when the traffic got a bit busier in the morning. ”
