Very central hotel, within a 15-20 minute walk of most of the key museums. If you pay for breakfast as part of your room rate, it is very good value as it includes a lot of options such as a variety of fresh pastries, fresh juices, cereals, fresh bread, cheeses, meat, yoghurts, coffee and tea. Ask for filter coffee if...

This was my first trip to Paris and was not disappointed. The hotel location was within walking distance to many attractions in which we covered in just one day! The hotel room was spotlessly clean and had a ballet and opera theme with a very large comfortable bed. Had a lovely swim in the pool, fairly small but very relaxing...

This hotel is situated close to Opera Garnier in a neighborhood which has many cafés and restaurants. The hotel is decorated with a lot of taste (artistic, which make reference to the closeness to the opera house). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was rather small but similar in size to other hotels in...

The location of this hotel is perfect with walking distance to the Madelene, a Metro Station at the 4 de September and to the Opera of Paris where you find the stops of the sight seeing buses. Also you can find several restaurants nearby even open at late night. Breakfast in the hotel is very goodwith a buffett with several...

This was a fantastic hotel for our first trip to Paris. My wife and I really had no idea what to expect with it being our first time in Europe at all (both American). The manager was really nice, spoke great English, and was helpful with getting us checked in. She even called around for a last-minute reservation for the...

Lyric Hotel has a very convenient location. Good value for rhe rates charged. A nice quiet block and several good restaurant options nearby. The rooms are a bit small on 4 star standards but very modern with rain head shower with easy thermostat and very comfortable bed. Not much space to put clothes so plan to keep in your suitcase....

My friends and I had a great couple of nights at the Lyric in Paris. Like most hotels in the City the room was small but this one was very well designed. Excellent shower room (NB - glass wall dividers so not much privacy!), very quiet and fridge / coffee maker. The location is amazing and within walking distance to...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
