Small hotel. Basic but clean and in a good area for seeing the sites. Located in a very touristy section so if you want a real Parisienne experience not for you.
Very helpful staff. I skipped breakfast after the first day preferring a local patisserie....More
I knew hotel rooms in Paris were small but this was a bit much. There was barely enough room for me to store my suitcase. And unfortunately, room 417 had a broken AC...in June. Reported the problem on a Saturday but management was content to...More
Back in January I booked a Junior Suite with twin beds. Knowing how small Paris hotel rooms can be and staying three nights the extra 5 sqm would have been welcome. No, here a suite does not mean two rooms just a single, slightly larger...More

From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal, this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is lined with the world’s best jewelers and their glittering window displays. Every other establishment has someone to open the door for you or park your car. You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops
or lingering over a meal at any of its chic eateries. After all that indulgence, the Tuileries gardens provide stately respite, while theatres compete for your applause. It's a neighbourhood that draws admirers from around the world, all attracted to the luxe life in Paris.
Our room had a shower over the bath. I'm a fairly big chap but was fine for me! We did get a taxi from Gard du Nord; don't think it was too expensive - less than 20 euros including tip. Depends on what you consider expensive... More
