What a great experience! The hotel is clean and well looked after; a real hidden gem. Hotel itself feels like 4 stars; staff is very kind and helpful and give you the impression that it is a 5 star hotel. One of our kids uses a wheelchair. The hotel has a few accessible rooms; even the bathroom is very accessible...

This is a really unique hotel in the Latin Quarter. It was conveniently located to great restaurants and was quiet. It has a darling, tiny, antique elevator (the kind with wrought iron and brass folding doors). It had a curving stairway which was beautiful but hampered carrying large luggage. The staff were very courteous, friendly and accommodating to people who...

Very good location, very helpful staff, there is everything in the neighborhood. We bought Louvre and Bateau Mouches tickets in the hotel, this was very helpful. There is space to improvements: room is too little, there was just one towel to two people, just one croissant to each person in the breakfast, just one soap reloaded, minibar not worked.

Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful, homely hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful! The room was very comfortable, clean and older classical style of decor. Beds comfortable with nice linen, location couldn't be bettered with only minutes walk to metro, bus and tram. The location is in an older, settled area rather than a built...

What a gem! Very nice staff who went out of their way to help me during my entire three night stay. Comfortable, clean room with all of the basic accomodations. The location is GREAT, despite being on the outskirts, you're right next to a metro station and a bus station which easily takes you wherever you need to go! Alot...

Nice little cozy hotel with good location! Just less than 5 minute walk to either metro or bus station. Staffs there are friendly and very good in giving necessary info to the tourist. They advise us to take buses instead of ‘dangerous metro’ and we did! The only thing we are very disappointed is the room does not come with...

Nothing spectacular as far as venue is concerned. The rooms were clean-ish but could have been considerably better, and it was tiny, as was the elevator. That said, I suspect it was typical of Paris. The staff on the other hand were spectacular. Extraordinarily friendly and helpful in getting around - they talked us out of taking the hop-on hop-off...

Spent four nights in this hotel with husband in october 2012. Room was very small, but very clean with a bath and a shower. The staff were more than excellent, helped a lot with tips for city sightseeing and directions for bus. They spoke perfect english. Outside the hotel there are many shops and restaurants. Bus station and metro are...

Wonderful stay in this hotel. We were warmly greeted at the desk upon arrival and received a map of the city. The helpful receptionist gave us loads of information about paris. The rooms are very clean and comfy. The breakfast was reasonable with cereals, fruit, bread, yogurt etc. Each morning the lady in the breakfast room brought us a basket...

I stayed here for 4 nights with a friend. The staff are really helpful and the hotel is close to the metro and trans so it's easy to get around. There is an amazing restaurant at the corner of the street that serves fantastic found and a great 2 or 3 course meal. There are 2 grocery stores nearby for...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
