Stayed here with my partner for 3 nights for a late Valentines. Our room was very clean and cosy with a nice bathroom. The hotel was very attractive with a pretty cat theme. Free WIFI - only downside was the TV was not available in English. The staff were all very lovely except for one man - we didn't get...

Lovely wee hotel, very central. Friendly staff, fantastic location and excellent value for money. Lots of nice restaurants and shopping, within walking distance of Opera, Louvre and Eiffel Tour. Would stay again!

The hotel is quaint and pretty and exactly what it says on the tin. The bed was a little uncomfortable but what you'd expect from any Parisian hotel really . Great find and really good location. Definitely stay again! The concierge gentleman was really friendly and knew us each time we came back without having to prompt what room we...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the hotel. We arrived in Paris at 6am and they very helpfully stored our baggage for us until we could check in. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower was perfect! Hot and powerful which really hit the spot after walking around the city all day. We had a courtyard room which...

Monte Carlo was a great last minute find for me after needing another night lodging in Paris due to airport closure and flight cancellations. I got a private room for an excellent rate, not typical for Paris imo. Staff was very kind, especially considering my late check in and the day I'd had with my travel being cancelled. The hotel...

Just returned from a three night stay at Hotel Monte Carlo. This hotel is both quaint and cute and I had an excellent stay. The rooms are basic but great for a short stay and using as a 'base'. It's in a great location, the surrounding neighbourhood is lovely with lots of cafes and bars and the hotel is about...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is in a great location and it is convenient to commute to many places on foot or by metro. The room was compact and clean. There are many restaurants, bars and few groceries around. A famous budget restaurant 'Le Chartier' is about 700m far and there are always long queues...

We were excited when we booked this hotel (it seemed cute), and due to no fault of the hotel's, we did not know that apparently it is was a single occupant room. Well, at least according to the rude conceirge at the front desk. We walked in and tried to check in, but the man behind the desk was having...

The hotel is very well located in a very nice neighborhood. You can practically walk everywhere from it. The hotel is small, however very charming clean and cozy. The breakfast is wonderful and the front desk people are nice and very knowledgeable and helpful. The price is very great, for all that it offers. I stayed the for 4 days...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
